The only outcome from this thread is that we may release details about every time cheating occurs, rather than none at all.

right what im saying is that why are the rules different for the mods and admins then they are to normal members....the fact is your not allowed to name and shame threads and thats exactly whats been done here

well yes, he did admit it. And im gonna repost this previous one as i ddint get an answer...

im fairly certain if someone was deleted for cheating and someone named that cheat on a thread, the admin would have no need to look upon it as name and shame as the person has no rep to lose as he no longer exists.

By creating the game shouts victory post 'anaconda' basically named and shamed himself. He already has another account banned for cheating, and has used 'spare' accounts in the past to cheat with friends, who were also reset-banned.

There is no such thing as smart cheating, and if you choose that option this is basically what happens. We don't need to reveal details of scores and such, but believe me, in this case it's very clear-cut! The first player to reach number one position overall will be remembered for doing just that, and it’s yet to happen!

So it's bewildering that the initial victory thread was even created, and even more bewildering that this thread followed shortly after.

I'm sure everyone has a fair idea why those threads were created, but thats a personal issue so we'll just leave it at that.

However, if there is anything good to come out of it, how about all instances of cheating are posted in the announcements section on the homepage.

Perhaps if users know this is going to happen it will be more of a deterrent than a score reset.

(after all, a cheat obviously doesn't care about thier rank anyway...)
