Me, living in Scotland, will end up supporting Scotland. And me, along with all the actual Scots, will end up going mental if Scotland ever score a try. I want to know why they make it look so difficult to get a try

anyway Sporting, don't worry. Wales will win due to the Scots inability to score tries. Add the fact that I don't think Paterson is even starting

Another poor six nations for Scotland I fear...

Niall asks everyone that......

See this thread has got busy now - still no girls, might have to edit the title!

Wales VS Scotland today. Think I'll go with Wales by 15 points or more, far too classy for the Scots me thinks. Although I'm sure we'll see a very spirited defence from the Scottish so should be a good game!

First half is going to be so physical, but we are one very fit team right now, possibly only Nz fitter. I see us runing rampant aslong as we don't give penalties away and give them soft points to get their tales up.

Need to set a marker for the rest, and make sure when England come to Cardiff next weekend, they don't believe they can win. Also, show Ireland what they're up against, they usually choke when the pressure is on.

Today is massive !

. . . hardly. The pressure was on yesterday and look what happened.

i hope gavin henson plays a major role in Wales's 6 nations bid, should give the rest of us plenty of hope

Games they have to win, games to win something of credit, major wins if you like. The world cup? Lost games they have to win to qualify, 2 years ago, didn't score enough points to win it and lost the big game VS France. 3 years ago, lost the decider VS France, 4 years ago failed to beat Wales to win it in a decider, 2003, lost by 40 points in grand slam decider, need I go on to get my point across?

They always do this, start off well, but I do think this team is different with the new coaches, bit like Wales last year.

Deifnitely the favorites, but Ireland aint good favorites, and we got a chance to pile the pressure on today and show you what we are made of.
Mental state plays a huge role in this tournament, I'm sure Wales will target that battle as much as the pitch battle.

Our captain, Ryan Jones is injured and out !

The back row is going to be the biggest battle today, and this is a massive blow. Byrne is a doubt and Henson is also out.

This just isn't meant to be

well look at you with your "facts"

no must say i agree with pretty much all of that except for that match against france where they scored that very controversial try in the last minute to stop us winning the thing.

i think under Kidney though things will be different, at least i hope so. We'll learn a lot from todays match about Wales although dont expect the same type of open match with so many line breaks as yesterday, bit more of a grinder this one id imagine. Go on the Scots!!

Stength in depth! This is something you have now - can't be relying on two or three players in international rugby to win. Otherwise you'd win nothing. You have the players to come through and replace those injured, you see.
(Hope I'm not wrong)

There's been more handling errors in this match already than the entire Irish game

Lee Byrne's looking exciting

So much easier against 14 men!

Scotland are absolutely useless when they get into the Welsh half

Well that was a poor match!

I thought Wales were very fortunate that Scotland didn't have the hands of the French or Irish! I'm sure lessons will be learnt from this game, line out ball needs to be looked at for sure.

Jamie Roberts looked good for Wales. The Scottish scrum half and winger looked good, injected some speed in to their game shame they didn't come on sooner IMO.

Am sure you'll be happy with the win, Sporting. Scrum looked deadly effective, something England have lost.

I am very happy with a dominate comfortable win away in Scotland where we have only won once in 11 years. Not many win in a packed Murrayfield

It's great to see the Welsh players and coaches saying they are far from happy, especially those last 20 minutes. It's funny reading around and seeing everyone wishing Wales to lose, does that mean you don't think you can beat us?

Something that maybe you all missed was how comfortable Wales were, and the first 10 minutes of the second half, they wanted to wrap it up, and the pace they played was fantastic ! Gatland said that a 6 day turn around is short, so he wanted to keep everyone fresh, so thinking about it, it was a great result, even though maybe a poor last 20 minute performance.

A nice start, bring on next week !

P.S - Even if the Scots had the handling of the Irish or French, it wouldn't have made a difference, Wales were a different level!
It was very comfortable and sent out a good message I think.
