fair play phillipe, a mature approach, I understand his posts aggravate you and I hope you see how yours may aggravate him. Thats why for a while anyway you guys should just not respond to each other. that way everyone will have a say and admin can get a much better view of the opinions.
There are things that you and spinnner might actually agree on and these will never be implemented on the game because noone else will have had a visible opinion which could be a great waste.

LOL thats sure fine by me too. We agree on most things (as you can see in this thread), and for my part i just enjoy the banter, its just a bit of fun between mates and if anyone has taken the wrong end of it i apologise.

I dont think anyone has and I know its banter. it does drag out a bit and put other people of posting. Your so determined to make some changes around here spinner (not in a bad way) I know you'll see what I mean about it not helping anyones case!

Losing to newbies is not an issue. If a player wishes to gain rank nice and fast it is. Most of the players on here are not cyborgs who love there rank, they do play for the fun of the game

Spinner I've seen your other posts with force about the "showing peoples name and/or rank" and I think you both are right, yes you should be able to see their rank so you know if you make a mistake and a player gets lucky your not going to lose a 4 pointer. Yes you should be able to play who ever you want because after all it is only a game . I mean look at my stats, I've gone from 675 to 781 in my first 8 days ! If I can do that, you 750+'ers must be able to get it back if you lose ?

Anyway I think this argument has come to an end because most of these posts have gone kaplunk and as nick said, hes working on this area of the game.

Yes, but because they were a newbie the amount you lost would have been reduced by the percentage equivalent to the inverse of the number of games thay've played.

In other words, if they had been a non-newbie on the same rank, you would have lost more.

Therefore you are better off losing to a newbie.

He has done no such thing, and I think you know that yourself. This thread was an attempt to sort out the controversy about the rank gained/lost from playing newbies. From what I have seen on this thread all that spinner has done is prove his point without any 'spite' involved.

I can't see any point in that personal rant on him, the only thing you've acheived by saying that is drawing attention to yourself.

me and spinner have had lil disagreements about stuff in past i.e. quick txt, but he aint the kind in my opinion to delete someone over a lil arguement, i think there should be a set amount of points that you win from a newbie i.e. for each win you get atleast & maximum of 2 points, and lose a maximum & atleast 2 points against them, only thing i can think of
