Er, Force m8, I personally, and many others, have been asking for this for a long time. There are many more culprits than the two you mention as well!
I cant remember the thread just now but there are various options here.
I would be all for the making of the golden break a loss, but most common now is a re-spot. Which works well as the number junkies get thier cred, but the game continues.
As for the 3 ball rule, yes, it has to go. It has been discssed many times, but i have yet to see ANY argument in its favour other than "its ok as it is" (not much of an argument that!)
Let the game begin at break, the way it should...

NOW back to the point . Ye spinner id like to see some sort of poll to vote yes or no for the three ball rule . Most people who will want it introducing will be the ones like us who repeatidly have players leaving the game after they break , other on the other hand who say no keep the three bal rule will be the offenders and a small percentage of people who just like it that way .
Ive created a poll for this question and was hoping people would vote . It has an IP identifier so it can tell if someone has voted more than once which is a good feature

I think a golden break should result either in a rerack or a smaller rank change. This would make it more fair and solve these problems. Even better, it would make these people who aim for golden breaks earn their wins.

mach_3 - if you read upwards you will see spinner saying that it should be a rerack and all the GBholics can get there acheivement but get to play a full game to gett the rank

I've always been against the abolition of the three ball rule...but with the creation of Golden Break league tables, and almost everyone seemingly knowing "the technique" for GBs, perhaps there is Finally something to be said for getting rid of it, or at least putting some kind of safeguard in place, like, for example, the three ball rule only applying to the breakee, not the breaker....if you've broke, then you've got no excuse for the three ball rule...you're ready to play. So, I say, keep the three ball rule, but modify it.
I suggest...
If you break, and then leave, you've lost...if someone breaks against you, you've got (as now) three balls to leave...

force ur full of s*** i did tell u a was'nt playing u & u would'nt leave a aint goin 2 let my time run out then whilst im creating another game u pot 3 balls a dont think so this has happened 2 me 2 many times b4 & ur saying u were pro well ur not now so until ur back 2 pro dont join games ur rank does'nt match

& that idea itengswing ppl join games all the time & dont leave what if its some1 u dont wat 2 play with very low rank joins ur game & while ur creating another game get the random shot time limit penalty then the opponent wins not a good idea at all.

Maybe there could be a feature which lets a player join the game but has to wait for you to let them in and play . This would give u time to chekc out the player and then let them in or decline them
