first of all there is no need to get so worked up, it is after all just a game, second of all there could be many reasons for having to leave during a game, uv gota have more faith in ur fellow man

nah this guy was desperate. I played him in a tournie b4 and he was trying to put me off (as he did in this game). He then breaks and logs out STRAIGHT away. Why break if you know your going?

I've been in the situation before where I've broken and had to leave...that's why I posted what I did. I've been told the GB technique, two different ways in fact, which I can do about 1 in 30 on the practice table, but I don't try it in game, because I'd rather have an interesting game... (That's so you don't say "yeah, you're probably just trying for GBs)

He mite not of seen your rank . I dont know him personally but he may have rushed into it . The fact is he got the gb and that classes as a win and a game . Therefore if he leaves it doesnt comply with this thread but thanks for the intel

It does! His motives may have been innocent, or maybe not, but it's the same trick.
Whether they pot & win & leave, or miss & leave - its the same, cos they only play THEIR breaks. They won't stay cos it's not their break next.

Excactly Martin. This is why i liked the idea in the coin toss thread. You would never know who was going to break and the game is commited at that point.
Obviosly unless the GB was made a respot or re-rack, this wouldnt eliminate the issue completely, but it would help..

I can honestly say in all the years i have been here i have never had this happen to me. I just dont see the relevance someone's rank can have before a game starts!
