There's a coin in my pocket, solid and round,
Jingling with the others as I walk the ground.
My hands in my front pockets, walking fast,
Re-checking the bottom of the girl I just passed.

The shop's in my sight, not too far now,
Today the weathers hot- theres some sweat on my brow.
A wave to an old friend, I pass him a smile,
This walk to the shop is just under a mile.

Into the shop, its empty and clear,
I open the fridge and grab a few beers.
Todays newspaper, and a scratchcard for luck,
Out of my pocket the right change, I do pluck.

Then its back home with the music on high,
A cold beer in my hand and the sun in the sky.
No-one around, all comfy alone,
Then there's a call on my mobile phone.

An invite for friday, a few beers at a mates,
It sounds so exciting, and I just cannot wait.
I wish it was like this on this very day,
But the weathers awful if you come down my way.

It's just a shame it's so far away
If it was just in reach I would go and live there to stay

A Place,thats sacred, to each one of us
A place,to contemplate, without to much fuss.

A place,for drunks, who want to throw up
A place,for girls, to put on their make up.
A place, Where women spend hours thinking of Brad Pitt.
A place, Where men stand outside dying for a SH.....ower.

A place,for lads to Shower and Shave
A place,for other lads,to just misbehave.
A place,of some jokes,they call toilet humour
A place,full of promisses and rumour.

A place,to relax, to have a soak in the bath
A place,to get rid, of the days wrath.
A place,to spend time, 5 minutes, even an hour
A place,to have the most relaxing shower.

A place,to ponder, your most innermost feeling
A place,to sit, and set your mind reeling.
A place,where all best thought's are made
A place,where some some people even get laid.
