answer my question nick. what was the point in changing it?

The point of changing is to see how people like it, if nick can be 95% confident that 51%+ like the new site then it should be kept. if not then it could be changed back..or altered to bring back some older game features or styles while still keeping some updated things. Having many things introduced results in a lot of feedback so therefore nick will have an easier job finding out what needs to be changed and what works.

oh and the ranking have changed im so so so so happy ive losy over 5.0 in 2 games.

i didnt take that much :P

the only prob is that you can only put the whie in the D and in pool it can go behind the line

Snooker was used to test out the new features (as was posted on the front page over a month ago). The idea was always to use the same core game engine for both sites.

The only consistent feedback was the balls were too small, so funkypool balls and table remained the same size.

Steven159 that is a good idea. i would also like to see how many blacks potted off break.

aye i was goin to say golden breaks would be good to see... the new version is much better, it tests whos really good at the game.

I will paste my comment in from another forum :

The table felt is too light in colour, the motion is jerky (i have broadband), the table looks smaller, the clacking sounds awful, the balls go down too easy, the tables too fast, its slightly less 3-d, and on and on.

It reminds me of a very bad site wihch was 2-d on a tiny table which was like an ice rink.

Funkypool was fine as it was and didnt need this absurd alteration, but im glad as i was addicted.
I actually wished i never found the site, so maybe its a good thing that its gone (its gone in my opinion).

One last thing, because of the sudden change imposed on us, i hope the site goes t!ts up!

I have stated earlier that I was unhappy at first sights of funkypool but maybe not so much unhappy maybe 30mins on the practice pool get used to it and i might reconsider my views but i still much prefer the older version as the new features are very much different and strange eg. more power on balls and not being able to break only in the D.Or am I wrong in real life are you only allowed to break in the D?

hmmm 50/50 if the site has "gone" yet? does that mean a$$muncher you are leaving or are you going to see it out and see if anything changes if not will you leave? i think i will consider leaving if their is no improvement or if i dont like it and dont get use to it!

It seems to me that in general most people are disliking the changes in a big way, the only people really saying there is no problems are friends with admin! So, what do you do, keep shoving an inferior update down our throats or see sense? When the 100th person tells you that things are not good it's time to think that maybe people have got a point. Imagine if the developers of G.T.A said "i know, lets change this amazing piece of software we have, tried and tested, and make it rubbish". Please listen to the feedback guys. We admire what you have done with the game before this, thats why reactions are so strong. God, i hope things return to what they were.....jeez, even the professionals are calling it a disgrace.

Funkypool is gone in the sense that its changed so much, its become a different game.

I'd be back but im not holding out for the change.

I will maybe look back every so often, but i reckon theyre looking to hold/attract a different type of player - one that cant play!

The new version is great now ive got userd to it, love the increased power and spin and game achievements and stuff. guys giv nick a break he must have worked hard on this just for ppl to say they hate it, we will get used to it.
