i LOVE the spin though lots more responsive and faster, great shot power now aswell.

Perhaps if a "winning streak" was introduced to be put into there?

or perhaps "gave nick a lot of money" could be an 'achievement'.

OK, more information about what's happened and why.

Basically, the funkysnooker code has been merged with the funkypool code. This means that the ball physics and game engine are shared, meaning work can go into improvement of both sites at the same time.

However, despite this, there should be nothing that decrements either site. The snooker changes were integrated to allow the benefits of side spin, updated engine (many fixes have gone into the game), improved connection logic and server stability, and we also now have the ability for nested/realistic pocket surroundings in funkypool (this is the next stage). There has been some teething trouble today regarding a few of these improvements, but this is why this was done at this stage.

The main changes between this version and the last that aren't popular are as follows:
- table image
- maximum power increased
- top and back spin changed (top and back spin used to be proportional to the power)
If it is one of these 3 aspects you are not keen about then we can discuss it here, these are easily changed.

The only commercial change is the additional advert above the header (which of course could be done without any game changes). If we wanted to over commercialise the site we would be showing pop ups and selling email accounts to 3rd parties - however I'm personally determined not to go down this route.

As a site developer, I think I listen to users with any constructive criticism more than just about any other site on the net. I do this to improve the game; I don't have to be nice to players to keep them here (returning players are no more valuable than people just surfing through!)

Many ideas from players have entered the game. And I like it this way :)

But please keep it constructive, this means say "i think the background image is unrealistic, pockets look odd" rather than "this is rubbish".

The better your input is, the better we can use it to improve the game.

but nick y did it need 2 be changed? it was fine as it was. youve changed it 2 much.

Game achievements allow us to add more games without serious code changes.

Currently we have tournament wins on funkypool and high break on funkysnooker. But maybe we introduce a "speed clear up game", or a "pot as many balls as you can in a row".

We can now add these games a lot quicker.

I'd like to see a winning streak, and a counter for how many days spent at No.1 for the people who've got there. Also a 'highest rank acheived'
