Just a thought i had on my way back from hockey (where my lad scored a great goal). What about teams having to buy players with league points? With the closeness of the league if a player like chocco (who is quality) cost 10 points for example it would make the big teams think hard before enrolling them.

Anyways a transfer window would be a great idea, I don't see why it shouldnt be restricted. Players now have free reign and licence to do as they please, play for one team one set then another the following. So what's the difference in not having any rules with transfers? Teams can equally be dismantled now if Captains really wanted too...but the fact they aren't does show and prove they have some decency and respect within them.

The lad has already suggested that he might quit running the league at the end of the season, i suggest doing as we are told and not pushing him to a decision that we will all suffer from. Dear oh dear this again. I'll give it a bash trying to explain the situations.

Tinie and Sam were signed after the team list deadline, so were considered as Uprising players for set one. This initial list is required because there aren't any previous lists because it is the beginning of a season. Once that deadline passed then the season has begun because we have our list of clans. The next lists to be submitted are the first FCL set, which is unique because the player eligibility is based on a previous deadline and not the fixture release like every other set. This is because a player doesn't have to have a game in set 1, and if just one list was submitted then players not included in the first set would be unregistered and so ineligible (meaning potentially only 8 members of a clan being eligible). So this first deadline, is the cutoff point for registration for set 1. All other sets players are effectively automatically registered for because they are already on the site (unless they are removed). So Tinie and Sam were registered for Uprising for set one, therefore ineligible for another clan.

Dark_chocco is currently registered for BS in all current sets, but since he has moved and it is all sorted he will be eligible for Uprising for all future sets. Exactly the same as with Tinie and Sam, just the cut off point for set 1 is before set 1 starts because clans need to be protected from late transfers that they cannot stop. The only way around this is If Uprising would have agreed, Tinie and Sam would've been made eligible for Set 1. What you fail to mention is that corsair and _start_ also missed out because of this rule (so Uprising ended up 3 players down if you think about it) but neither complained.

Ash, what you are wanting is for dark_chocco to be ineligible for 2 sets of the same league in which he is registered to Uprising, which is the unfair thing considering Sam and Tinie were only ineligible for one set. We aren't asking for dark_chocco to be allowed to play for us this set because that would be unfair also.

Hopefully that is a reasonable explanation and clear enough to stop the circle, because it's obvious that Ash doesn't understand exactly why Tinie and Sam weren't eligible by questioning the fairness of the runner which is causing an issue.

Good idea, heard of players want to do this but never got round to it.

How many LP would you give teams, what restrictions would you do (e.g. 2 players over 8 LP), how do you work out player ability and how many in a team and format?

Come on, is this really necessary? If you want to be like that, we have corsair coming back in this set and I'm 50-50 that we'll end up needed a sub from you for an inactive player. We didn't sign Dark so we could beat you again, we've won one already so we know a draw pretty much guarantees us the title. A loss wouldn't be so bad so long as we scored 50 because we'd be quietly confident about out scoring you. We have the same approach as MVP and Pros had, we have faith in all our team to get the job done.

I wouldn't say that you're stronger than us for the upcoming set regardless of signing chocco. It seems more like you being worried that you've missed a chance to beat us to be honest. I'm sure that isn't the case, but why get involved when it won't change anything and you've not understood (or misunderstood) the previous situation that you bring up? Is it not just an issue for Uprising and BS to sort out (which it actually was already before it had been announced).

In 8us i had 1 or 2 finishes which i should of got but didn't, whilst another one or two did happen and go fine. But in some where he had easy finishes, twice he missed sitters somehow, one being a black! So overall it evened out but 3-2 maybe would of been fairer. In 9us however i was much better and did nothing wrong really, always cleared up well, in one i did have a bit of luck leading to it though. But the 2 i lost i could do nothing about as one was where i broke, left him snookered, but he hit the 1 and the 9 was fluked in. And in another he had a combo fall that was set up for him too after some balls went in. In 8uk clears weren't working out for me in the first few frames, but in one i got another go and took the frame, and in one almost did run out. But in the last 2 i played more tactically and went easy about it and won them both to take 8uk 3-2. Overall neither of us were always at our best but some frames did go good! Main thing is that our whole FCL set 1 is now complete, so thanks Jason for subbing in!

lol Ash must have shot his load when he signed Sam and tinie thinking he was gonna win something this season, now dv8 and jack are back, and you've now signed chocco it must feel like his dreams have fell apart.

A bit late but I dedicate my 9US marathon win to you guys! Was an awesome tourney, with dvz in the semi final and the__priest (craig) in the final. My two bogey players finally beaten in consecutive matches. Was truly a special moment

Can tell my head is right again, and looks like I'm in the right place (again)

Glad to be part of Uprising, and am looking forward to the fixtures to be released tomorrow! Will surely be a fun season.
