What other achievements could be achieved?

Alot of people only play on here to cure boredom. If you then tried making people pay for it, they'll just move onto another free game to do the same thing. I certainly would.

You'll only end up with clan members using the site which means 7 or 8 clans of 15 or 16 players. That's if the existing clan members are willing to pay premium which a few I know, wouldn't be. The site would finally die.

Also your idea is it to pay to play site or just Clan Leagues? as i could easily move my league from Funky to a Free forum so because it would be away from Funky their isn't much you could do as it would still be a Free League just no "pro" types.

If its pay to play i think it would be wrong personally.

Showing Tournament statistics would be interesting, such as.
Number of Tournaments entered.
Number of Tournaments won.
Number of Quarter Final Placings.
Number of Semi Final Placings.
Number of Final Places.
Biggest Tourna Point Win.

Something which shows more in depth about tournaments and your achievements in tournaments.

True, these people who have lots of tourney wins, that are merely they entered and no-one else did haha

If people made some You Tube videos of FunkyPool and there was more advertising related around FunkyPool I believe it could attract more players to the site. There's a few on YouTube - But are all VERY out dated.

I could try but problem is finding a video recorder what doesn't lag as with lag your form drops and video suffers

Yeah, i'm more into Snooker as people know but i'm maybe the hardest working non-staff member here (I mean in terms of Funky).

Basically like Hypercam where it can record your gameplay but you tend to get lag a lot. Camtasia is best one i have found but not sure where i left slatty's disk

Here's an idea to boost the site. Why not take advantage of the technology that's out there and help improve the practice table with, I don't know.... An aimbot on the practice table perhaps?

i tried tht few weeks ago. never worked as the lag was so terrible, only things i couldve end up posting would have been fouls lol

Why does it? Why does FP need to be out there? Its lasted well as it has and nick has achieved what he wanted from it.

All I keep reading is: how to make it better and visible for all, it's had its hay day. The site has been at it's busiest and did well from it, times change, still has the same people logging on even 7/8 years down the line so it's not done too bad has it?

Those calling for changes are the first people to whine and moan when any change is addressed or even suggested. The only thing this site needs is people to accept it for what it is. It were set up as a hobby and that's how it will remain.

As for the Aiming assistance rubbish for practise, is attempting to pot a ball and missing then retrying too difficult for some? They need the use of lines and where the balls are more than likely to travel to, to help them on an online game? Jeez - talk about KILL the site and STEAL all the FUN from it in one go.

Bravo! - That's what keeps this site going; it's own identity and being kept separate from ALL the other pool sites, no aiming assistance, strong core of members and game play like no other. Change either one of them and the site's Ruined indefinitely IMO

Yes ash we complained about arcade, we complained that changing the tables would ruin the games...we were right.
