FBL changed to 8 frames again now?

Yes it is, also individual points u get in a single match are added into the table (2 points for a win, 1 for a draw) despite the outcome of the overall fixture

It's the same as last season on the site:

4.1 Scoring points in games
Each individual game won by a player scores two points for their clan in the appropriate fixture. The losing player scores zero points. One point will be awarded to each player in the event of a draw.

4.2 Fixture points
The total points from each of the 8 games are added together and used to determine the winner of each fixture.

So each individual match result gets added to the relevant fixture score, the final fixture score outcome gets points added to the table. So if we won 9-7, we would get 2 points in the overall table.

Golden cue for FBL goes on matches won not frames won. If you think of it like the Golden Cue goes to the player who scored the best (brought in the most and conceded the least) it makes sense ignoring frames because a player who wins 5-3 scores just as much as one who wins 8-0.

no it isn't ... fbl is first to 5 .. you don't have to complete it when someone gets to 5 so although technically it is 8 frames if someone wins 5-0 then the other three don't need playing

Heres what chris posted before the season started. My interpretation says that if u win a match 5-3 u are awarded two points which later are added on the overall table. I might be wrong though

All 9 Ball, 8 Ball and 8UK matches are best of eight racks (or in other words they are races to five). The winning player/team scores 2 points. If it reaches four racks each then both players/teams score one point.

Straight matches are best of two racks (or in other words they are races to two). The winning player/team scores 2 points. If it reaches one rack each then both players/teams score one point.

All points earned from each individual match played are accumulated throughout the season.

So once you get to 5 it makes no difference If you play the remaining games or not? If that's the case what is the point of 8 frames
