Rumour has it Aymeric Laporte too United is 80% done and Gonzalo Higuiain to Liverpool could be on. We need a Coleman or Clyne some wingbacks who can cross the ball. F.Coentrao for competition with Luke Shaw. Defence is key we need some, Falcao ain't worth the 43m maybe replace with Thomas Mueller who LVG gave his debut too.

Cracking player is Higuiain, still think Delph is not the player you need instead a Marek Hamsik IMO would be better. Add some competition for Mignolet and a couple new defenders then they will be a team to reckon with.

I remember a lot of people saying Borini was over rated at £15million Henderson was at £20million

one has flourished and looks like a long term Liverpool captain

the other needs a confidence from his manager and he wont let you down

Mignelot is a class keeper also, as ive said get some decent defenders and afford him so protection and he also will be a top top keeper

I agree with all that, Mignolet still has plenty to offer yet and time to learn. Borini could springboard with the confidence from his goal. He could be a great poacher for us and I think he has the opportunity now. You have to admire the bravery in sticking things out at Liverpool instead of going already. He has certainly earned an opportunity.

As for Henderson, Lucas-esque in his improvement here. Rock solid now and still plenty of growth left to do.

Though as happy as I am with Mignolet, I wouldn't object to a new keeper for competition.

Liverpool will be nobody without Gerrard. Henderson is okay nothing special, over rated at 20m lol. Borini would be better off in another team possibly upfront with Defoe. Needs be in a team who will utilise him for his attributes not play in a team who play like a bunch of crabs. Sideways, go forward, then back, then side ways just throw in a Gerrard Slide and you got that tune from a while back 'cha cha slide', take it back na y'all Lol

If Henderson is overrated at 20 million, what does that make Fellaini (27.5m), Zaha (15m), Young (17m) and Jones (17m). Henderson is a far better prospect than any of those players bought around that mark.

Liverpool will be fine without Gerrard, certainly a loss to lose him but he is going because of his lessening game time. Kinda suggests we won't be nobody without him, if he is moving because he wants to play more.

As for the sideways game, that doesn't really make sense and you're not really in a position to suggest a team doesn't shoot enough.

The problem with the Henderson/Gerrard situation for us is that we are playing Henderson out of position in order to accommodate Gerrard which is why he had a slow start to the season.

If you look back to last season he was brilliant when played in his right position, and has been when played in his right position this year, but we are sacrificing him in order to just give Gerrard some game time, I would rather leave Gerrard on the bench and play Henderson and Lucas, and I know the majority of the Liverpool fans would.

As for Borini, he is brilliant off the ball, intelligent runs, link up play and an amazing workrate. I just think he lacks the finishing touch at times, I reckon he would be a top player in a team who were willing to play him week in week out, something he just won't get here.

Mignolet, a fine shot stopper and is very much a confidence player, just hasn't had confidence in the defence, well not until Can and Sakho came into it anyway.

I think once Sturridge comes back, Sterling could hit form again, and with them 2 and add in Henderson and Coutinho who are already in fine form we COULD make a very hard push for the top 4 and make it difficult for other teams.

Sturridge back is what every Liverpool fan wants right now, he is so important for our chances in the league. If we rush him back too early and he struggles for form or picks up another injury then I can't see us making up the ground. With him back at the right time, we could do it.
