I think it's too late too push for the top 4 now for Liverpool, can see them finishing 5th or 6th, either just ahead or just behind Southampton. I think West Ham will fizzle out, team too watch will be Tottenham.
Sturridge clinical finisher, will he be the blessing all Liverpool fans seek, I'm not so sure. Next season will be better for him and England.
Sterling will be better when he either signs a new contract or signs for Real Madrid. They always conjure up some top player signing. Do I think Sterling is...nope but they might. Can't see Reus going there tbh.

i keep reading about Sturridge
when he is back and that is when
he will neither be match fit or sharp
I truly think his season is over to make any sort of
big difference to Liverpool
and as Rodgers is a little under pressure lets hope
he doesn't use over him to pacify fans and think
more of the players long term future
time will tell

the question I ask myself daily
will Gus start playing 2 upfront and if the answer is no
why ?????????
we maybe relegated before he smells the coffee
we play some great football, but better teams have fallen
doing this, I think its time to go with 2 upfront and become a little more direct

I wouldn't say a 5-7 point lead is unassailable with 16 games left and the head to heads for most of 3rd-8th still left to play. Hopefully with his injury bring so long he will be eased in. Don't expect match sharpness but you don't need that to be clinical (and with 3 league goals between our 3 strikers fit, he should be able to finish as our top scoring striker still). It's going to be very fine margins so one game could make a huge difference.

I am surprised that Sunderland are still so low in the table when they could easily be above the old enemy if they convert draws into wins. Can't see them going down though because they are much better than the teams below. Gus will figure it out in time Craig

been there seen it all before zante
the money we've spent are all on attacking midfielder's not sorting the fundamental problem
service into the box and 2 strikers
Gary Neville hit the nail on the head
we are not a direct team
we cant be called a total passing team
and we aren't a crossing team
so the question would have to be
what the hell are we, apart from hard to beat

Good match tonight, a little hard done by to not get the win but played very well. 1-1 set's the tie up nicely for the return leg, should be a cracker of a game too.

Lacazette and benzema rumours hotting up.
One will do at this rate, if only it's possible but as they say rumours are rumours and i won't be smiling until they are in the anfield office signing a contract!.

Wouldn't be sure on Benzema move but Lacazette is a possibility and a good one. My worry is having too many strikers, especially when we play some games without one.

Lacazette is a possible, and of even thou we have borini and lambert im sure if lacazette comes one of those others will be shown the door.
U can keep bojan although he is similar to coutinho and can score goals too

too many strikers dont think so zak weve got 1 quality striker with 3 average so definitely need another. cant see sturridge coming back into the team and firing them in he needs a month or two to get back into things. sterling upfront not for me how many times on the attack against chelsea but no1 in the box, not a player you want to see with his back to goal needs to come from deeper and run at defenders

They aren't just average strikers, they are out of form and trying to prove themselves (which in this upturn in form I think positives are coming through for each). My fear is adding a 4th to that, with a 5th coming back from injury and a 6th due to finish his loan in the summer.
For me, those three are fighting for one place next season. Sturridge and Origi will have a place and possibly anyone we sign. Borini, Balotelli and Lambert don't have a place. I think Balotelli will be going unless he can form a partnership with Sturridge. There's a lot of interest in Lambert should he want more game time (though he is the most unique so far), that diversity and the fact he won't expect a place in his team week in week out might give him a place next season. Borini probably has the ball in his court at the moment, so good form and he can stake his claim.
Though to be honest I wouldn't be surprised if the three went in summer to make way for another striker or two.

It's all hope mate.
Rumours will just be that until they unveiled as a Liverpool player.
i for one want a striker in..balo out.lambert out.
then if that happens we will have Lacazette sturridge and origi and borini.
maybe.

0-0, well done Cambridge!
Enjoy the trip to Old Trafford, you'd do well to get another 0-0 their after United get a massive kick up the backside from this.
