From the season so far I'd say:
1st Chelsea
2nd Man City
3rd Arsenal
4th Liverpool
5th United
6th Southampton
7th Spurs
8th Everton
9th Newcastle
10th Swansea
11th West Ham
12th Stoke
13th Hull
14th Sunderland
15th Crystal Palace
16th Aston Villa
17th Burnley
18th West Brom
19th Leicester
20th QPR
I think the top 2 are set, 3rd-7th are battling for Europe, 8th-12th mid table security and 13th down on a massive relegation battle. Apart from the top two I'm not certain of any place at all.

Arsenal 3rd because they know how to get there consistently and get points when they shouldn't, Liverpool I couldn't really separate from United, but Sturridge will be a huge boost and they are still in all competitions. United are in two, and that back line is jut too makeshift for a CL push.

wouldn't put liverpool above man united.. couldn't see that happening, liverpool's defence has conceded more then man united's "makeshift defence"

no mention of Everton
battling for Europe ????

not the way they have played, been disappointed in them this season so i think its right that they wasn't put into peoples European spots

They will battle for Europa but they've been below themselves so far and might struggle to gain ground. I actually quite fancy them to get a good run in the Europa league and even give them a good chance of winning it.
Liverpool above United I admit is hard to see at the moment, but the run United are on isn't that impressive compare to what other teams have managed and considering the manner of victory of some games. There is plenty of changing around left in the season. If Liverpool can get Sturridge for then they have a chance to get a run going themselves, then it's all up in the air. When you look at United's front line it should be in contention for best in the world (Falcao, Rooney and RVP), but it's not all there. De Gea is easily United's most important player.

Imagine where United would be without Rooney, RVP & Falcao, and playing James Wilson up top instead, he is a talent, but not world class yet, and he wouldn't have bagged a load of goals.
Well that is what Liverpool have had to contend with this season, a crap defence and our strike force missing, instead playing Lambert, which is why we are not where we should be in the table.
We can claw this back, should be a good battle for the top spots. Looking forward to see what Liverpool can do, especially when the Studge is back!

both teams need the win on Saturday
be a tough game, Sunderland need a win to kick their season off
Liverpool need a win for the same reason
think id be happy with yet another draw
but I do think we have the forwards to score
just wonder if it will be enough
key Liverpool players will be
Coutinho, Balotelli and Sterling, if we can silence these 3 we will have a chance

I am hoping Balo does not start, Lambert has done nothing wrong and we have played better with him in the team.

I think he will play Balotelli
would suit us if they do.
id be more worried with the aerial threat Lambert brings tbh

I don't think Rogers is silly, he has got a winning formula, scoring goals and looking good.
The main thing I would say, would be keep Coutinho on the bench again, the team looks so much more balanced with Lucas in the team, letting Gerrard make those runs which Lampard does also.
I am sure we can debate for the next 30 hours about it, but both sides will show up wanting to get something from the game, just gotta think Rogers will show some faith in Lambert

Haha, I thought he was supposed to be fit for this game, but then again, if he has been training with Studge, he might not ever play again
I'm quite shocked you two are even debating it, Lambert will start. Ask yourselves how he got this big chance
Because Balotelli is injured

Great win by NUFC don't know where 6 mins added time came from seems like the referees like to help the teams near top of the table. Disgraceful!

nice one Chris.. Very true. I don't see why matches can't just be completed with a klaxon bang on after the final attack from 90 mins. Too many minutes added and yes that includes for MUFC too.
Says a Man Utd fan witout a hint of a or a

Because teams would go 1-0 up then time waste to the extreme, knowing at 90 minutes it would be FT . Plus it shouldn't matter what is happening on the pitch, when the 90 and added time have been played it should be the end of the match. Shouldn't be allowed one final attack or to complete an attack.
