Don't forget Porto, they looked very very strong, yes it was a weak side, but playing away from home and to bring up that sort of performance when you have lost a few of your best players, exceptional.

ozil looked flat against dortmund i agree, hasnt reached the heights of what he did for madrid but i do think eventually he will come good .. arsenal should of signed khadeira as he is what is missing in ozils game gives him the confidence to flow forward. Although encouraging signs for arsenal and england with jack wilshire finally back to his free flowing best against man city and starting to play well again.

Chelsea last night were nothing special, man city lacked and deserved to lose as they really didnt do much going forward.

Liverpool no surprise the only time stevie g is in the oppositions 18 yard box is to take a penalty he is too slow to keep up with the play anymore, Sterling ran like a girl all night again with no end product.

Barca should of won by more last night but they just took it easy and didnt exert themselves in the slightest, Roma looked very very good .. no standout players but a very very well organised team.

True but Bate were absolutely dire, Brahimi had a field day, against tougher opposition don't think they'll perform as well. Great 6-0 but too easy for them.

Roma looked very impressive Iturbe is a great player who I'd liked United to have signed, Gervinho looks a completely different player too from his Arsenal days.

Shambolic (Liverpool) - That has to be the worst I've seen Liverpool play, defense were non existent and apart from Sterling's well taken goal after impressive play by Balotelli they were woeful.

Gerard doesn't look like he can keep up with the pace of the league any longer, Borini is virtually inadequate.

I had this match down to be a draw as saw teams cancelling each other out, only 1 side did that and fully deserved their win. Not like they had a long journey to return from neither, as played CL match at Anfield.

Hope they improve next match.

Liverpool are lacking a certain amount of 'bite' to their game

Having had a few hours to let it sink in how bad we were and maybe calm down a bit...

I agree with pretty much everything Ash said, maybe except for the Borini comment, he showed great passion today and just lacked in the finishing department, other than Sterling and possibly Henderson he was our player who tried the most.

Gerrard needs to be dropped, but without Allen to come in and with Can injured we have no one really to replace him.

Our defence is terrible, until Skrtel is fully fit and Lovren settles properly it's gonna be rocky for a couple weeks.

Reckon we will get smashed 3-0 or 4-0 in the derby next week if we carry on the way we were today.

By the way West Ham were terrific for the second game running which is a first you can say for a Sam Allardyce team

Just watched some highlights back and I didn't give Balotelli enough credit, probably the best he played for them tonight and proved maturity not reacting to Adrian.

West Ham played brilliantly and looked very dangerous on the counter attack - Valencia and Sakho for them looked very impressive but their best player were an ex Liverpool one - Downing. Best seen him play since his Middlesborough days.

It's becoming more apparent every game, that Gerrard needs a rest, he looked lethargic and didn't track back for Sacko's goal, but Hendo was busting a gut to try and do something, and then Gerrard a glare.

Hoping that Hendo gets a run out as captain midweek, give Gerrard a rest.

As bad as liverpool were, West Ham were amazing, bad start to the season, we need to get our defence sorted, not a single leader in that back 4, hence why our players are knocking each other out.

Hope Brendan can come out of this stronger and sort liverpool out, I don't want Brendan to be remembered as the manager who lost the title..

Just looking at what we all wrote for our predictions, I think it is quite that telling that no one expected arsenal to win...

So what do we think about today's games?

I'm expecting United to beat Leicester, Tottenham to beat west Brom, Everton to win and I think a draw between city and chelsea

Funny how they (Ozil) played his best when Sanchez on the Bench - as good as Sanchez is, always said he were not the player they required. A Benzema, Jackson Martinez etc (Target Man) more what they need. Villa had defended brilliantly so no one saw them lose 0-3 @ Home.

I'd like to think a lot of it was down to the virus which robbed them of their best player (Vlaar), every team loses something when their captain and best player doesn't play.

My first bets on my acca for today:

Tottenham to win,
Over 1.5 goals (Lei-Mu)
Over 8.5 Corners (Lei-Mu)

Fingers crossed
