I've had a good one in 9 ball, completely snookered a guy (trapped the ball) he just potted the white, so i copied him until he 3 fouled and lost the game

well done i say, common sense, why would you give the game away by not killing your opponent using clever play
After being harassed by a certain player for doing this I thought I would bring it to the public. So in a killer game it was the last two people, me and the harasser lmao. Anyway I had two lives left and he had one. He played a perfect snooker and I knew I didn't have a shot. I then proceeded to sacrifice a life by TAPPING it and setting up a snooker. He then didn't have a shot and lost. He then proceeds to cry like a baby and continue to harass me, even to a mod. I would like to ask everyone if they think this play is smart or just demeaning to the game. I think that it is smart play, yes it is a tad underhanded but hey I wana win. Also I had another very good player recently do the same to me in a killer game. I am open to any criticism and other people's opinions.

Got to laugh at the people calling it 'clever play'
The people that don't agree with tapping in killer have thought of it too you know you aren't ground breaking geniuses

I think its a good tactic, In my youth i used to hate it on Snooker as i was an attacking player then i learned safety play by watching Ronnie O'Sullivan play a tactical game and playing perhaps the best tactical player on funky, buddytobud (RIP). Then in the leagues Team Killer was invented and tapping and setting up is encouraged.
In my time i have learned a few things about Killer.
- Pot the Black when you can unless its risky, however if the guy after you has 3 lives you can give them the Black.
- Don't be afraid to set someone up or tap if it will eliminate someone else (works best with 3-4 players).
- Think of your surroundings and if you will be in trouble, bring a ball or two in play so its easier for you.

I wouldn't do it, it's not in the spirit of killer
1.No tapping
2.No setting up
That's the way the game should be played, none of the best players tap or set up so that shows you it isn't a good tactic in the long run because people will just take revenge by doing the same to you.

Do you honestly think you are revealing master tactical strokes like a boss james?
If you have to resort to setting up and tapping then you're crap in my opinion...nothing to do with being astute tactically it's showing a bit of class and wanting to beat players because you pot better and play safe off your pots better.

In Clan Killer i have seen, tapping to cushion to eliminate someone on one life (still takes some skill not to hit it too hard and leave it on), setting up your teammates to eliminate the other clan members and also pot the white so your partner has an easy safety shot.
Its anyones choice if they want to do it and remember you can do it to them too
