After being harassed by a certain player for doing this I thought I would bring it to the public. So in a killer game it was the last two people, me and the harasser lmao. Anyway I had two lives left and he had one. He played a perfect snooker and I knew I didn't have a shot. I then proceeded to sacrifice a life by TAPPING it and setting up a snooker. He then didn't have a shot and lost. He then proceeds to cry like a baby and continue to harass me, even to a mod. I would like to ask everyone if they think this play is smart or just demeaning to the game. I think that it is smart play, yes it is a tad underhanded but hey I wana win. Also I had another very good player recently do the same to me in a killer game. I am open to any criticism and other people's opinions.

I wouldn't do it, it's not in the spirit of killer
1.No tapping
2.No setting up

That's the way the game should be played, none of the best players tap or set up so that shows you it isn't a good tactic in the long run because people will just take revenge by doing the same to you.
(going to a mod is a bit ridiculous though)

You can't play a killer game without tactics... If your tactic is to tap then carry on doing so.

Personally against a friend on here i wouldn't do it, but anyone else i would!

I DO IT, when i do NOT want to lose! Opponent has 1 life, and u have 2, why not just kamikaze attack (as i always say), and then you win majority of time in that situation. Clearly not "cheating"

Same here, i will do it to a friend however, if i am on a bit of a win streak on killer, and my record is pretty clean, considering i reset often.

A wins a win, would depend who I was playing as don't care about losing to the decent few left here, but yes I've done it before

The objective is to win at any cost, in a friendly individual match I personally wouldn't roll up to a ball and deliberately foul, I'd like to pot as many as possible and if I lose then at least I did through trying.

However, if it's a clan match then that's different, there's something to play for and the team needs any many points as possible.

Some might not agree with that but hey ho, what's new. Try to win at all cost when Team is involved.

At least you know how certain individuals react now so next time you or they enter the same room you got 2 options, PLAY or LEAVE. The Decision is YOURS.

Well it seems I have a half and half here, so when some people see me in the room they wont care to play me lol. Its not like im a consistent tapper, just in that one situation I did that. So don't everyone go running! I'm really happy with all of the different responses. Thanks guys.

Yeah it's a sarcastic username, I used to do it when I first started playing but the more you play killer the more you see that the regulars won't do it...there is a good level of sportsmanship and an etiquette involved, if I play a crap safety that ends up as a set up then I'm apologising to the player affected.
It all makes for much better, fun games.
You might win a couple extra doing that but killer ranks easy to come by anyway...look at dvz 970 or whatever it was highest ever and he wouldn't ever tap.
It's honestly not 50/50 if you play it regularly you will see how few people will actually do it especially out of the good players.

Lol at this shame on the loser. I can't be doing with killer but you do whatever you can to win, I hate tapping but in killer id do exactly the same as would most, what did he expect you to do leave him a pot on
