Messi is the better footballers (and more team based, Ronaldo is a better athlete.
Neuer did put in some quality performances, and unrivaled in bayern and Germany's goal (Germany has some good young keepers). It can be harde playing behind a good defence because you can easily fall into false sense of security. Bayern look a bit weaker in defence this season but they're still dominating the bundesliga

Wouldn't have said he was the best. conceded 4 against Dortmund, Madrid finished 2nd in the league with Madrid last season and this season they're 3rd. Neuer helped bayern achieve a treble, and they're dominating the league. Internationally there's only one winner as well. Neuer is easily number 1, Spain have a few more to choose from.

I'd say Madrid have a better defence than Bayern, by far the weakest section of both teams though

ronaldo is by far the better player
he creates his goals himself within reason
ronaldo is the better athlete erm i differ there sorry they are both superb athletes with tremendous balance and upper body strength
messi scores more team goals, with inter play
free kicks
ronaldo by miles and some
having seen both players live. ronaldo has a presence ive only seen in a few players, some call it arrogance id call it supreme confidence in his own ability
the question i would ask to satisfy the answer to this question is simple really
would messi be as good in another team ?
in summing up why is messi crap for his country and yet ronaldo is still the star of the show
that is a factual statement
messi to me needs to move on to show he is as good as people say
id pay to watch ronaldo warming up
i envy man utd and real madrid fans they got to see it regular
total class what he can do with a ball

What does anyone think about NO Premier League players in the Team XI this year?
I dont think there was any "outstanding" premier league player this year IMO... maybe you could of had robin van persie there but thats about it.... Next year i would be very suprised if there isn't....Aguero, Negredo, Suarez, Ramsey just to name a few

Yeah Bale was unreal but he wasn't in european competition so he doesn't come into it....same for Baines.... as for Kompany i dont think he was near the standard of the Bayern Munich defenders or Rafeal Varane from Real Madrid

Messi's better IMO, Ronaldos great but Lionels more of a passer and team player. Messi has amazing technique, poise and balance whereas Ronaldo has quick pace, good technique, but a little too ball greedy I feel.
Could they play in same team, i would say not. They would forever be trying to out do one another well more Cristiano will try to and neglect the rest of the players. In a perfect world Ronaldo would be on the left wing and Messi the 10 role (free).

The Argies won't win the World Cup. It'll be between Brazil and Spain with possibly Germany thrown in the mix. Belgium and Uruguay, I think could do fairly well. I reckon both could reach the quarter finals. Not sure whether England will even get out of the group to be honest. Just so long as Ruddy isn't in the squad and certainly under no terms is he allowed to play against Uruguay...
