Best atmosphere for me is on a Merseyside Derby, best one I've been to was the 2012 FA cup semi final at Wembley. The best player I've ever seen with the ball at his feet is Ross Barkley, I'm sure you'll all agree, those who don't, clearly don't respect football

Oh and guess who Liverpool are after in the New year?

Everton

Barkley is class just hope we (the English) don't expect too much, too soon. Could easily be our next Gazza, only time will tell. Adam Lallana's a wicked footballer too.

bit early to be talking of Ross Barkley
and jimmy the best footballer with the ball at his feet

did you never see
king Eric, Gazza, Christian Ronaldo, Messi, Javi, Hoddle
Innesta, Maradona, Stoichkov, Henry, Zidane, Alessandro Del Piero, Marco van Basten, Dennis Bergkamp, Johan Cruyff
Luis Figo

just to name a few, he has along way to go in my eyes

lets not be blinkered, of course he has a great future, but progression is required and better distribution

but i will say he has potential to a be one of the best this country has produced

Agreed, Very poor refereeing decision and denied what would have been an awesome equaliser.

I know it's not strictly Premier League chat this....but what do you reckon to Ronaldo and Messi? Who is better? And if they were to ever play in the same team, would it work?

i honestly think ronaldo is better.... could they play in the same team? yeah why not they would have to be equal though instead of one player being preferred to the other

Messi's better IMO, Ronaldos great but Lionels more of a passer and team player. Messi has amazing technique, poise and balance whereas Ronaldo has quick pace, good technique, but a little too ball greedy I feel.

Could they play in same team, i would say not. They would forever be trying to out do one another well more Cristiano will try to and neglect the rest of the players. In a perfect world Ronaldo would be on the left wing and Messi the 10 role (free).

What does anyone think about NO Premier League players in the Team XI this year? Me I personally think Sepp Blatter cant stand, the English or the Premier League. Some maybe 1 or 2 from the English clubs should have been selected.

Can't believe Suarez wasn't in there! Think he has to be one of the most in-form players on the planet. I know Ibra scores a fair few for PSG but the French ligue is shocking! Sepp Blatter needs to be caught out and demoted/resign. As you said, hate's the English and English leagues.

I dont think there was any "outstanding" premier league player this year IMO... maybe you could of had robin van persie there but thats about it.... Next year i would be very suprised if there isn't....Aguero, Negredo, Suarez, Ramsey just to name a few

I'm surprised Neuer were the GK, he didnt have to do much as Bayerns defence is solid. I thought other keepers better than him.

He wasn't anywhere near the standard he set first season or the standard he was at barcelona that's most likely why he wasn't
