Have to give City credit for the way they came back into the game, not just being 2-0 down but with Anfield rocking! Dont think any team in the world would have wanted to play against Liverpool yesterday with that crowd.

And we are going to be just as mental (if not more so) vs Chelsea and Newcastle.

2-1, to 3-1 now. They might have gotten a little ahead of themselves it seems. A bit ominous for Liverpool to play them in a few weeks but hopefully it should help erase any overconfidence, not that I suspect there is any. Feel like Chelsea are desperate to shake Liverpool up a bit, but I can't see how the pressure is on them and not the other two teams. There is a determination, not pressure. Chelsea need results, Man City need results, Liverpool have a slight bit of leeway

Come on Sunderland!

City have only beaten Sunderland once in the last five previous meetings! Be great for 'pool if this finishes a draw, or better, a Sunderland win!

Finished a draw! Which means its a good result for us liverpool fans and chelsea fans.. City out of the title race now they have to depend to much on other results..

27th of april between liverpool and chelsea is now the title decider in my opinion.

What a result, from what I've heard Sunderland were unlucky to lose. A goalkeeping blunder cost them 2 points when a draw isn't really good enough for them

All the goalkeepers fault, straight shot, he spills it, slips and can only watch it roll slowly over the line

I wouldn't say City are out of it, If Liverpool-Chelsea is a draw then they'd slot back in a point behind Liverpool if they win their game in hand.

Chelsea need to beat us, a draw now is fine for us to still go on and win the title which is huge. If Chelsea beat us, they are favourites but only a point ahead. A draw, we just need to go into the last few matches without complacency. A win for Liverpool and... well I won't say. Still got a set of games to play before then.

All our games are hard now, Norwich is going to be tough, just because they will attack, although it is Suarez's fave hunting ground...

Chelsea and Palace are teams I fear may take points off us, and Newcastle, I wouldn't like to play them needing a win to take the title...

Well Chelsea have to play Norwich too, but they start off with a tough game against Sunderland who could easily have beaten City. Then a potentially title deciding match at Anfield sandwiched between two legs of the CL semi finals. Norwich after us before a final day match at Cardiff who have a habit of picking up points from nothing

He did alright for Arsenal when they needed him. Clearly wasn't good enough to be first choice for them, but as something like their 4th choice he served them well.

Mannone always has being useless.....

always useless lmao (people said that about simon minuolet and he is in a possible league champions position this season
forgetting numerous keepers weve had over the years,, inc one thomas sorrenson)

he is in a poor team, and got to us to a cup final
beating chelsea and man u on the way only to be
unlucky not to win the cup final

one mistake all season
silly comment
