Once again, I hate to agree with Craig fry06, but Mannone was great when at Hull City. Then again....who isn't???

Although Figueroa looks useless to me!

That scoreline is better for City than us really. Chelsea need to beat us, and if we lose and City win their games in hand they will be above us on Goal difference.

The result also puts a rocket up Norwich's bottoms as they are in deep deep doo doo now also.

Nothing much changes for tomorrow.

To many ifs and buts above.. You mention goal difference, liverpool are only 3 or 4 goals behind man city on goal difference.

Look at chelseas form in their last 4 premier league games, lost 1-0 against villa, lost 1-0 against palace, beat swansea only 1-0 even though they had a man advantage for 74 minutes. And again lost today.

Liverpool win tomorrow which is again a must win, they'll go 5 points clear, which means they have a little bit of breathing space, a draw against chelsea would be a good result. A win would be a phenomonal result.. For city to win their remaining 5 games, its a huge ask especially when they are away to Palace who are in inspiring form, and away to Everton!

Its still early days and i refuse to get carried away, but todays result is in favour of both City and Liverpool.. Maybe City more so!

Yeah that's what I was trying to say...

Chelsea coming to Anfield needing a win, they do that our goal difference suffers and if City do win then their goal difference improves...

Just thinking the worst possible situation mate that way I will be happy no matter what!

The league has fallen into Liverpool's hands - they have had so many big decisions fall their way/had other results work for them that it's almost certain they will win the league from here. Should that happen, they deserve it IMO...11 wins in a row speaks volumes.

Don't think it's Rogers fault at all, it's not exactly complacency because the players aren't getting cocky. Just when we don't need the goal early on to take the lead we sit off and let the other team get into it. With Chekdea I don't expect the same to happen. Probably a 0-0 or 1-0 lead going into halftime and we'll carry on with a bit more urgency hopefully

14 wins in a row just to make sure I'm hoping for

I hear Louis Van Gaal or Jurgen Klopp as favourites. I think Klopp would be the best man for United to take.

As a Liverpool fan I think United should honour their 6 year agreement though they only have to give him a years pay instead of the remaining five if they sack him because of the failed bid to get into the champions league. That's why Moyes looks like he's gonna get the boot now.

No one can say it was really a surprise that he would go, but I really thought that they would give him half of next season also.
Give him chance to bring in his own players, get rid of the old guard, but maybe the owners didn't trust him with a huge amount of cash, after he spent £27m on Felliani, who has been a bit part player at best.

As for other news, Citys win was almost routine, Liverpool stay on course for the title and West Brom to be relegated lol

I said he wasn't the right fit from the start, different type of football. I think he would've improved next season with some more of his own players but I can't see how he would get back into the top four. If he plays the likes of Mata and Kagawa in the wrong position then he's not likely to get the best out of others. Giving him more time would have been wrong, he needed big changes at the start of his reign and he made one notable signing in each of the 2 windows he had.

A massive overhaul is needed and it often takes time for a new squad to click (look at Spurs). A couple of good signings in each window would have left united in a much better position
