"I agree with this a lot, or make the tourneys non-ranked. I bet a lot of serial resetters would stop resetting if the tourneys were not double points and an easy way of making quick ranking points."

People resetted more so when ranking points weren't on offer in Tournaments!

Its been a long time since ive been on snooker to any great degree, but there are always plenty of players on there. Maybe the site doesn't need anything radical but just needs to identify what it is that's going right on there and implement it on here.

Seriously you are pulling me up on a typo?
The guy who after years of being told doesn't know the difference between your and you're, to and too or even no and know.
You're not disagreeing you haven't the intelligence to, you are just regurgitating the same monotonous speeches you have put on every thread since the dawn of time.
People put up ideas to try and help the site and you just whine...nothing changes

Like!!

hmmmm......snooker is a lot more skill I think.
granted ya may get the odd fluke, but pool is a game where they are more common and a lot of people can't handle them!
Maybe newbies that come and go are put off by by a combination of flukes and skill????

Too much abuse and personal attacks. Same old crowd winning same old events. Introduce handicapping, like golf and then everyone has a shout. What is the point of entering tournaments when players who are far better start off the same as you? And its not about practicing and getting better, same old faces will keep winning. For killer, should be 1, 2 or 3 lives depending upon ranking, would make it much more exciting. Then everyone has a chance and really good players have to overcome a handicap. Same with tourneys, should be graded or handicapped.

Emily, I remember 4 years ago, when I first started playing, I was awful! I've played a lot of games, against much better players, and eventually, I got better. It was a slow process, loads of bumps along the way, clans, tournaments and finding a good bunch of guys on here, who were better than me. Same with golf.... When Tiger Woods enters a Tournament vs any other player, it's not handicapped. People should get on the practice table, learn the speed of the cloths, spin on the cue ball, and aiming..... Then, everyone will benefit from more competition.

If you win through a handicap, how can you ever expect to improve? Watch, learn, then try things out for yourself. It's a never ending learning curve.

We all don't need to pay, and a handsome chap like you is a free paying stud, I'm sure Sir.

Sensible ideas please, like Frans

I seem to remember they tried that at one point and was a flop.

Agreed with a lot of comments on here. I'd scrap the arcade games (too flukey) and cut down on the number of tournaments.

Maybe us lot need to do some word of mouth spreading.... Just an idea.

One thing I would love to see implemented into the practice tables, would be an option to put the balls where you want on the table, like drag and drop a ball from the rack and play a shot.
So you can practice doing a type of shot, so you could learn which is required to get from one place to another.

I know you could do this by tapping balls into place, but that is tedious and time consuming.

Any thoughts on this?
