i think the fcl is fine and the way it splits into two leagues is perfect as you do now know which way the fcl will go until the last fixture which is great.
Well FCL may be fine as it is the main league and should last longer than the other two but Superleague certainly needs change.
I like shorter league formats, and i guess that way more people would be interested in clans.
I dont like the idea of playing each team twice. That makes the season way too longer and most clans cant keep all their players active for so long. Superleague should last at least another 2 months considering there are the play offs which tbh makes me lose interest in that league. The duration of FBL was perfect, we need to implement it to the other two leagues aswell.

i do think some things should be implemented i made some suggestions yesterday but nobody bothered with them and thats fine, I think if a player has been off for a certain amount of time say a week a team should not be able to put him into a game BUT if he comes back he should be available for a sub, i also think any player that is subbed out of a game should not be allowed to sub back in unless its deadline day, Maybe there should be a limit on subs instead of capping subs completely.
However matty, neither is having players in a fixture for two weeks and making no real effort to get the game played and then on the last day requesting any of your team to play any available opponent. That is perfectly within the rules but its not what was originally intended either.

i agree if super league was shorter it may well be better.

I agree about the two games making the season too long if we start as usual with 9 or 10 clans. With 7 that would be slightly different.
As for SL, the Play-Offs will be 4 weeks max or less if games get completed quicker.
I highly doubt u can complete the Play-Offs stage in 4 weeks with the activity there is nowdays in clans. Or you will get lots of defaults.

100% incorrect from my own perspective. If people want to rip each other apart thats up to them. However if there is a change that removes that, and far more importantly, worked for the good of the competition then it should be made.
I think the issue here is that Chris (and others) are approaching the situation purely from a moderators point of view instead of a players.

I think subs should remain but only allowed in week 2 and proof attempts have been made. Subs are there are a last resort, the whole swapping fiasco is the problem and I myself have manipulated such in the past. There were nothing in place stopping it. The reversal aspect needs to be scrapped, the whole everyone can be a Vc is a ludicrous idea as it's a free for all then. It takes away any structure to a TEAM and eradicates it's hierarchy.
Without subs, I can only see players not even attempting, losing interest, feeling why bother and leaving their clans in the lurch. Takes two to communicate, the fact defaults occur is simply down to lack of communication.
There are those who don't bother to communicate or make contact and hope to see their opponent online, all well and good but sure does screw up their team when possibility to face a default.
If all players adhered to a set code of conduct or method then defaults might reduce, teams would know where they stand with particular fixtures and those who make repetitive errors will be easier to sort out.

Four games, in seven days, from eight players and unlimited subs and swaps. If games can't be completed within that window with little else going on alongside then they deserve to go to default!!!

as jack has said in any environment we are going to get clashes of personalities that is just one of these things it happens in all forms of sport all over the world, If that stops the competitiveness stops IMO ok some of the personal attacks are needless, But arguing will happen in any competitive game anywhere.

BULL, i have had everyone as a VC this season for one sole purpose if im not online and neither is scott, anyone can make the sub that needs doing ... thats helping out a lot more than 90% of teams have done the other way around this season.

I agree, but how many things would there be left to legitimately argue over? Although I accept there will always be things not to legitimately argue over but just to argue over for the sake of arguing!!

i think pointless remarks like "the everyone as vc needs to be scrapped" cause arguments tbh
i take that as a personal attack tbh as only two captains have done that and one of them *me* was quite vocal about doing it.

I dont agree with any of the points u make here:
1. Why should subs be only allowed in week 2? What if someone can be active in the 1st week and not in the 2nd week? is it fair to sub him out?
2. If a clan's captain has faith in each of his players to make subs or swaps and decides to make them vices, than why should they be prohibited from this option? Thats something which stays within a clan and affects no other team in the league.

You know I have no problem with it. Within the current set ups it makes sense for every clan to run themselves exactly how they want. But similarly that also goes for any clan that wanted to restrict subs or swaps within their own clan, or make them for whatever reason they want. That should be their choice but instead they get, or were getting, grief.

Isn't the whole point in having a Captain? To make decisions, subs, swaps, team selections, communicate with their players, motivate, criticise, encourage, take that away from a teams structure and you got no TEAM. Everyone a Vc is silly. Appreciate you work and are busy that's fine, players can wait for you to make decisions they don't need the gold key to the yellow brick road when you ain't online.

The point of a captain is to set up the structure, and to set it up so when he/she is offline it stills runs smoothly which is exactly what happens when everyone is a vice. I have every faith in every player in my team to make the same decision i would based on what is in front of them. If other teams do not have that faith that is not my issue all i know is i will not be changing from the everyone is a vice stance as its a very good idea .. if me and scott are both offline for 5-6 days at a time teams can wait that long can they ? come on now your just being stubborn Ash, you like to run things you like to be in control of your team thats fine you do it your way and you feel that works for you ... i do it my way as it works for pros.

i slightly disagree, people were making needless swaps which were hindering games getting played rather than helping, as i said swaps should go subs should stay.

But is that not just your perception of that situation? The rules state that any sub or swap needs no agreement from the opposition. If people don't agree with that then is it not 'broken'?

thats fine chris i have no issue with it just being only my perception of the fact people make needless subs and need no agreement, but then likewise when i make a reversal of the sub and get chastised, any fool could see what was going on at the beginning of the season Chris it was there in black and white.
