Well you never mentioned there could be options for subs before. I'm not fussed at all whatever happens, I just think there would be more defaults if no subs were allowed at all

If you add no subs and swaps that would be god dam silly .. my team is also very very active and every player on my team normally arranges the game as soon as it comes out with the exception of one or two, But stopping subs and swaps altogether i think would be pointless and would only lead to yet more defaults.

matty i love pros to bits but the above is deffo not a fair representation of pros. I could pick a few that do but a lot more that don't until the second week and a few more that don't until the last couple of days, so no subs would be a huge problem for pros unless you picked the same 8 players that do all the time

i said normally i didnt say everytime ... but i dont think we would struggle as much as most clans with the no subs rule .... unbeatables would struggle more, in fact i think every single clan would struggle to a certain extent in all honesty, either way i think its a ludicrous idea.

UB has had a lot less defaults this season than pros so not sure how you come to your decision

wow u seriously think pros would struggle more than ubs ? most of our defaults have come due to the opposition not our own fault apart from last set of super league which was our fault.

Might be worth a trial with no subs or swaps see how it goes, huts would probs still post asking for subs

If there was no subs or swaps in fbl i would not be entering pros into the league That i can assure you now.

It will be much harder to get games played imo but you can't tell Chris that, a trial would be interesting tho just to see how it goes

No you can't tell Chris that, if Chris wants to implement it he will do ... But he can do so without professionals.

Then it would be silly of Chris wouldn't it ? just because i feel pros would be ok it doesn't mean i have to agree with something that is completely ridiculous .. maybe saying 3 subs or something there is a reason football had to start having subs despite firstly never having them.

I actually think even though it is extreme, it would be interesting as the games against active players would always get played and it would be the same players that ended up with defaults, maybe it is the best way ever to make clans pick active players and players who put effort into getting games done as opposed to a top player who makes no effort but expects a sub if he comes on late in the fixture just so he can play the fixture, that game in my opinion has no reason why it should not go to default if he makes no effort until the end.

i think the way they do it on snooker is good .. if a player has two defaults in a time period he gets banned for x amount of fixtures .

Just on football metaphors. Another way of looking at it would be that a Sunday league team is given a fixture to play. If they don't turn up and play that fixture they forfeit the result. They don't ask another team (or their reserve team) to play instead. Here the fixture window is two weeks long not 10am on a cold wet Sunday morning at the local park!! If you don't turn up or make the effort to play you forfeit.
