Lol not the one you were looking for anyway. I don't take it seriously, but what's the point in playing in clans when there's people playing in a fixture twice on 2 names....
Not quite the sulking you did over a deliberate foul anyway. It seems like your still struggling to get over it now!!

Yeah I was super sulking and still wasn't over it when I posted 7 hours ago, sat on a lounger on a nice sunny beach, relaxing while reading a Danny Wallace book.
I may never get over it, such is the magnitude of this heinous situation I now find myself in.
Mine is not to reason why, mine is but to do and die.

lmao! I'm a little bit older than you and used to play for my country in pool. I have seen things on tour that someone like you could never dream about. A cheat had his fingers broken with his own cue once, took him out of competition for a fair while. I'm only pretending though as you obviously know more about these things.

How did he cheat?
We have 4 representative players in Uprising, 2 of which represent their Countries. Every one of these players will tell you that deliberate fouls are equally as legitimate as potting a ball! If you watch pool on sky, or streamed on the internet - you'll see deliberate fouls in every match. Even in the Hull leagues, only the very stupidest of players refuse to play deliberate fouls when necessary!
If anything, funkypool is lagging behind by not converting to World Rules in 8UK.

This was 21 years ago, things were different to how they are today. The bloke who did the breaking was a right nasty fellow, unfortunately he is now blind due to diabetes :(
My IQ of 137 makes me feel special some days :)

i think its an unwritten rule dependant on the situation, any money matches played in the part of rotherham i live deliberate fouls wouldnt be tolerated.
in big money matches with the best players in south yorks, it all norm depends on the 2 opponents they will mutually agree beforehand.
Last time i played in the leauges which were 18 months ago, they were starting to creep in a bit then, you aleways had players that did it, but it was rare, there used to be a 2 warning system in place, but it was rarely used and caused havoc when it were.
ive been to the posher end of rotherham playing and its widely accepted , that said thats where the poorer teams and players and play from.
ive worke an playe 4 pubs in the istricts ive worke in for a couple of weeks an its completley different down south, the whole pool NIGHT is differnent, where as we woul meet at 7 or sometimes stop out in work clothes for away matches we would go in a minibus or taxis and all 7 or 9 players dependant on league would stop all night, same goes if u were playing esat home unless u were 2 sozzled to stop, this went right through the teams that were top of the prem , and if we played cup games at div 2 teams it were cpmpletley ifferent a bit like pleying down south , a bit like a doctors surgery one come in and one went out.
I can honestly say playing in rotherham prem for 17 yr when playing the top sides, there were 20 sets of eyes watching table and we all knew each other

i can honestly say deliberate fouls werent played, when i worked away and played for someone they were frequent, and normally resulte in the accuse losing anyway.
in funkypool i play them all time cos i know ill get them to me anyway, the only time i dont is when me and shad have agreed b4 hand not to play them.
Top and bottom of it is they are now widely accepte rightly or wrongly, the element of sportsmanship has been taken out of a lot of sports, in a perfect world players would play with pride and respect there opponents an play to the rules thats stated not take advantage opf the ones thata arent, but thats my opinion

What's the big argument about? It's all down to the rules.
World Rules Pool - Not against the rules
Old EPA / Bapto Rules - Against the rules
Blackball - Against the rules
WPA - Not against the rules
All the rules on this site are bespoke and there is no rule stating that deliberate fouls are an illegal shot - So what's the issue?

Shadwell is the only person who thinks It's cheating, he tried to compare it with someone using multiple accounts in clan games lol, that's the reason he posted in the first place....
What happens with people caught using multiple accounts in clan games anyway pirate, are they just allowed to continue playing with no punishment?

Sarcasm is obviously lost on you. As it is oft stated as the lowest form of wit, I do not know where to go next for you to understand me. Maybe I could try speaking S...L...O...W...L...Y

After making yourself look an idiot that's what you tried to turn it into yeah, but feel free to fire away talking as slowly as you possibly can, and while your at it pirate is wondering what the issue is with deliberate fouls

People play to their own strengths, I don't like playing deliberate fouls or safe, but if I have to, I will.

So, no one comes on the site and is good straight away......no one!!! So if a player joins a clan and has, let's say, decent stats, could we not require a previous user name before they are allowed in the league. I know what will be said in advance, maybe they are just good. Ok well if none is provided and it turns out they had a previous name or is in fact false and get found out they get banned for life, and that means all leagues for LIFE. Make it all public so there can be no accusations of cover ups or what not. If you don't want to reveal previous names you don't get in the league. Could perhaps cut down 'cheating'.

As far as I'm aware you can use 2 accounts in a fixture, get the second one banned for multi using then carry on playing clan games as normal on your first account, that's the impression I got from Chris's post.

In fact any player who wishes to join the league must adhere to this. Tell us who it is or you don't get in. If you say no one well fine but when your caught, banned for life. Also any points that player gained are removed from the team, not replayed, just plain removed. As I say seems a good idea now more than ever.
I'll go first, onevisit, previously tokko and onevisit. See, not too challenging.

03:10 Thu 17 Apr 14 (BST) [Link] stops exactly this, under my proposal both banned for life if caught. Is that a risk you want to run for a few extra points? Is multi using or playing as a previously banned player worth it if you will never be allowed to play again?
