Still like chappy's idea of starting off with a probable result, and tweak it from there if any fault can be assigned.

I think my idea could be used on the default, in practice, if it is a success, great. if not, we shall find another way.

This is the way I see it working, when there is a default, the league runners contact the people who have been chosen from each clan, (trustworthy etc), then asks them to go and produce a result that they see would fit that game. With 7 teams (i think) deciding a fair result, i dont think that it would be far from the result, that if the game had been played.

and we reply to league runner, with the result, not telling anyone else about it.

If there is anything anyone can see that i missed, please feel free to help, or add ideas.

However the system used now is unjust
We say it dosnt reflect on the league table of course it does

If a lower team gets a lower score because that's the way it is
Is wrong

A default is a default the reasons for a game going that way is what should be judged
And points awarded accordingly
Because your at the top or the bottom dosnt matter

My average score upto this game was 8 my overall is 9,2
So how 4 is reflective is beyond me

I'm being penalised because some one didn't want to play a game and proven

I think its unfair to predict a possible outcome, it completely writes off a lesser player who for no fault of their own will end end being judged to lose.

For example: Joe bloggs vs levi strauss (on stats and paper levis the better player)

Judge A - 3-12
Judge B - 1-14
Judge C - 4-11
Judge D - 5-10

Total 13-47/4 equals 3.1 - 11.4

Joe could score 6 or even 7 plus on a good day, it's like judging a book by its cover.

Take the players average
award that plus a couple of default points

That's got to be fair

Swaps
Threads

But as i said, this is the last resort, subs, swaps etc should all be done first.

i am not saying that it is perfect this, but it at least gives a representation that would be the 'most' likely outcome

you cant take averages craig, i never played against dogs,vipers or other 2 teams at bottom last season, yet i played all top teams

good point here, that is why i think my idea will be better, a lot of captains, vc's know how their opponents are playing etc, so would be able to give their idea of what the score would have been...

I think chapys idea could work with a bit of tweaking, steve and co have took on awful lot of work alrerady running leauge, and then they have defaults to deal with due to eagles and cptains fooling about. e

Why not take chapys idea and introduce a default panel to determine results as a very last resort i wouldnt have all teams have a rep though id just select a certain few with common sense.

If anyone one of the said default comitee are online they can deal with problems as they happen hence limiting defaults.

Here is who i woukld propose and im sure you would agree there all fair enough people with common sense and have the ability to deal with a problem without escalating it.

Without meaning to sound forward - Would you be willing to run the trial chapster? No problemo if not.

Could this be a good time to bring forward my idea of having a representative from each clan present on a league board too vote on league decisions (i.e., decisions such as "should bonuses be scrapped in the FCL", "should the SL be dropped" etc) - They could double up as the default panel.

Tbh reading through and I havent got a clue whats going on, I generally don't read this anymore as it seems it depends on who posts an idea more than the actual idea...
(to the point i have asked people to post my ideas as people shot down mine without reading)
But if what im going to say has been said im sorry, BUT
I think there should be a default limit... if your team gets so many defaults then they shouldn't be allowed in the league.
Also am aware that people are debating about setting up a panel (good idea) though the saame people will be asked.
For example I have offered to help run the league 3 times yet people with not much experience have been given the nod over me.
I personally would like to be on a panel if one was made up but am aware I won't be asked.
Do feel 3 leagues are over kill.
and i think my stance on tactical subs are known ( though there needs to be a ruling are they okay or not)
Anyways think clans are generally getting stale. I don't have any ideas to re-energize them.
Maybe smaller clans?
