Good Old Funky seems to be on it's decline,
Players fading encouraging teams to struggle & survive.
We got to support each other and be a community,
For this very premise the site was created I'm sure originally.

Players come and players will go,
Lets try to appreciate just what we've got
Do what we can to keep a steady flow,
Before we have to accept the fact we could lose the lot.

Many times often the site seems to go down,
Connection failing, oh no here comes a frown.
Drives us mad and sometimes round the bend,
Shame it's real and unfortunately not just pretend.

Been on here for a steady while,
Good days and bad but still seem to return
Love the game of pool and always try to smile,
Our mate funky always offers something new to learn.

This site is ours for as long as we want it.
Keep logging back on and Funky I'm sure will cope
We got to cherish so not fight and whatever we do

like you i have been on for years
java issues,,oh the fears
players going,left right and center
players arguing,,plus some banter
some threads are not a good read
players trying to do a good deed
captains sub,change and swap
trying to do whats best nonstop
players agree,others don't
its possible,,nah they just won't
i always say av fun,enjoy
but for some there out to destroy
thats all at the moment, i can think off
im outa here to get some scoff

it hurts bad to watch someone so close suffer
the pain you see
the sadness all around
as you watch someone drift then come round

the tears of joy soon turn back
as they drift away once more
your heart breaks
you pray

all to no avail
what will be will be
inside you wish the pain they suffer
could be shared around from one to another

unfortunately its theirs and theirs alone
they are so brave
but equally so scared
knowing the end is near

the end will come
I just wish I could help the end come quicker
to ease the suffering and the pain
again I pray

I feel guilty for having such thoughts
but then I feel guilty
for watching the suffering

my mother does
