Cheers Jay . Only one spot left in 9US now, but since kingdadcool has said he wants to join, but not with a type yet he can have that place if he wants to play 9. If not there will still be 1 place.

Got quite a few already, so if it fills soon I will be looking into starting within the next week.

I've decided that the finals this time around will almost certainly be longer matches, and perhaps the earlier rounds aswell, but I'm undecided at the moment. Finishing off he website as we speak

8uk for 2nd time running please.

I think longer formats is a good idea, maybe something like World Championship Snooker, but best of 35 probably not a good idea for final

Website is done. Just waiting on players to fill now (9US is full already), and then a draw and schedule will be made for the next season.

A few changes to the format from last time, but only the amount of frames that are to be played. I've stuck with the 10 day deadline for each round.

Quarter-Final

- Played over 2 legs, 9 frames to be played in each leg, with 10 days to play each.

Semi-Final

- Played over 2 legs, 11 frames to be played in each leg, with 10 days to play each.

Final

- One match, to be played as a best of 23 game (first to 12). 10 days to complete.


The games are significantly longer this time, but I feel this will be best and should improve the games since last season. Want this event to get stronger every time, and if the longer frames does not work so well, then I'll change anything that didn't work next season.
Games do not have to be completed in 1 sitting, and long as they are done on time

That looks alright to be honest. 23 is large for 8US and 8UK but as you said can be done in sessions so to speak.

99 would be funny!

That's what I was thinking. It's double the last finals, but can be played as 2 first to 6 matches sort of thing. With the quality of the last finals, larger finals this time was needed.

And like I said if it doesn't work out I'll lower it slightly next time until I get it right
