11-7 down, and tappy was on probably the easiest black in the match, Dont know what happened tbh. Then i won 5 frames on the belt to take it 12-11. He played really well and i was well below par in my opinion, got there in the end. 3 in a row

Went 3-3 then I started trying get a little too over confident and missed some I don't usually do. Jay then stepped up a gear and he played very well, capitalizing on all my mistakes. The score should have been more in his favour tbh, messing up on 3 frames nearer the finish line. I had to pot the last remaining balls, unfortunately the final weren't a bit more closer but next time it will be.

Were a fun competition thank you angry_bacon mate, very well run and thanks to all my opponents, I'm happy to have made the final.

very high standard throughout, at 9-8 to him continued .. the last 5 frames saw him run out twice and me golden break once, which gave me no chance at all much to take the win. vwp to him at times, ggs .. enjoyed with high standard!

Very good standard throughout and enjoyed these! Tonight we played the last few which consisted of a foul on the black with my 2nd shot and 2 runouts for me sandwiching a Golden Break for him....in 5 frames!!
Started out fairly topsy turvy with me going 1-4 down to then lead 9-5 with him bringing it all the way back to lead himself 10-9. Then i managed to steal the last 3 with a runout either side of him getting v ul and snookering himself off the break.

Enjoyed these games and this event (surprisingly enough ) Nice to see close finals! gg's

Hi guys! Sorry for my absence during the last month that I'm sure a few know about.

I hadn't forgotten about this don't worry , and can I say (even though I wasn't around) a HUGE thanks to everyone that still managed to get finals played for Season 4 . Some close games in there. Congratulations to those that came out winners.

I also noticed that the straight final wasn't completed. This leaves me with no choice but to leave that game type at that, so there will be no winner for straight for season 4, although any games that were played will still remain on the golden cue. I'm also going to have a massive rethink as to whether to include straight in future competitions, that seems to be the trouble game type, not just in this competition but in others aswell.

I will update everything now (website, golden cue etc.) so the new winners will be on the website.

The Funky Knockout Cup WILL return with season 5, but it will be a while yet (will probably do it in the new year). That's if people still want it, and I hope none of you have lost faith in me , but my not being around was unavoidable.
