Log in - No games unless you want to enter one of the tournaments that carry zero prestige. Too many on the go and it seems only clooneman is receptive to any comments in regards to doing away with the majority and taking it back to the days when winning actually felt worthwhile.

How many times do we have to post explaining that winning a tournament with between 10-15 entrants in an anti climax before somebody in authority does the sensible thing? Well done on trying to implement a medal system, but the skill is on how many hours you can spend on the site as opposed to how much skill you possess.

Logging in as a guest is no better. First time users see a ghost town. You join a room full of guests and can't even ask for a game. Click game rooms and you'll be lucky to find 1 game per discipline. New users will not use the filter system to realise a community actually exists and go elsewhere.

Another issue that needs addressing is to make some of the mods admin, such as Chris, Joodles or Ab. It's painfully apparent some of the current admins have either lost interest or simply don't have the time to log in due to commitments outside the net. If admin can't log in for months at a time (Spinner, Katiebug, Mcquiston) what is the point in them being in the position.

Lastly sort the mature date ads out. We know they pay more. Stop implying it's down to the user what we see. I log in from many locations and they are always there.

not very often i agree with these types of posts but i fully agree with you here, even the part about the medals and tournaments, for a while ive been wanting a tournament every 1-2 hours compared to every 15 minutes as then it highers the prestige of winning a tournament. I remember the days where you had 4 rounds in tournaments (thats over 64 players) when tournaments was friendly and no medals to go for so it was something you could enter for fun.

ranked tournaments has eliminated the fun element since its all about rank now rather than sportsmanship, and serious rather than something to pass the time.

yeah but ranking system is so hard gain rank in now..its too boring when ur a top dog player winning 1.2 or under every game u win..when u play tournys ur chances go up 3x

fantastic idea! Nick should trial at least 1 game query a week. As long as it is a decent idea..i love the thought of that. Would be nice!

enit whats the point in us making threads if none are taken in to account aspesh if its prem members making the queries there paying to play this site atleast take some of there views into account . 10 just to remove adverts is a joke i can remove mine with opera at full zoom then clicking f11 . i think morre people will sign up and pay for prem if some action was taking as it really does suck all these tournys the amout of micros are stupid .

It is ad blockers they do not like, they would not have implemented the zoom in option on the game window if they didn't like it.

its so annoying entering tournaments now, i come on here just try find the few people that exist from when this site was good but their arnt many now that theres not much time for people like JSG and pitbull_pete and people that never come on anymore such as pot_the_lot, its sad to see how this sites come out..

nope as the advert still runs in the background despite shrinking it to a microscopic size. Ad blockers gets rid of the ads permanently, same as premium would thats why admins don't like them as they lose out on £10 for each person who does it.

He makes a very good point about admin, with fastboysam and clooneman seemingly the only active admin

Perhaps the active mods becoming admin could be beneficial (if they were willing to do it)

And yeah scrap all the tournaments
