ur m8 in your old clan knowingly gave an account to a banned user not only in Funkypool but FCL

and u ban tratter for having a discussion you didnt like about jobs
now jay, thats strange, your clan has a player in it that gave an account to another player and got banned from Funkypool

you enjoy ur night
im pleased i pulled sinners out of that league , whatever wouldve happened next if a sinner blew his nose

Can I just add it was not a discussion about jobs that got him banned, it was about an hours worth of slagging off other peoples lives, laughing at other peoples misfortune at not being able to get work regardless of the huge effort they already put in was uncalled for, it was personal and malicious.

And you're eligible to play in all three leagues, even though you posted personal information, and real names of every member of Uprising. Not only is this a severe breach of funkypool rules, it is actually illegal. So you keep on abusing the English language with your huge, illiterate posts - but at the end of the day you're stood in a glass house throwing stones.

Best decision you made. Now for admin to do the same.

Nice to see the thread down to a lower level again, maybe we can have some actual feedback on something or possibly a new rule for next season....

Oh actually, people mention defaults can be very unfair at times, the FBL right now has a decent system as does the TCL i think. I would like to implement one in to the FCL but the only problem i see with this would be that there is 15 frames in total. I can't see a way to give out even points for true activity and things like that.
If you have an idea on how to do this fairly then i would love to hear it, if your just going to post and whine about past defaults then don't bother wasting your time.
I was also approached by a few members stating that maybe a format change would be good? I think they mean from eight games in a fixture down to six. Many reasons where put in the messages but the main ones mentioned was it would lower defaults and due to there only being six games the limit of players in a team could decrease possibly making way for another two - three teams.
What would people think of that? I like the idea but i also love the eight games in a fixture that it is right now.

8 fixtures maybe 9 frames?
you can use same system as FBL but if its more one sided you can award the 2-1 or if no/not helpful messages (e.g hi) then award 3-0. number of messages and the contents.
activity can be a problem without activity tracker.
everything should be reviewed by you before awarding the points.

The system in place in the fbl and TCL for defaults is not good in my eyes. The FCL is the fairest way as long as you get subjective folk voting on it. The TCL awarded very few points to SS in the last fixture despite the opposing captain saying we were entitled to them all and I particularly dislike the FBL method where one persons view is all that decides it. Leave as is but maybe get less folk who just copy the previous persons score posting. In an ideal world all the scores on default should be the same but yet are currently so for the wrong reasons.
As for the_priests almost unreadable post, isn't this the same boring stuff spouted before? Didn't he pull his team from this league? Should he not focus on not getting banned again rather than boring us ALL the time with drivel?

I think what he actually said was 'you will win the defaults' which you did.
The reason for half the available points being awarded was because of the limited evidence of effort provided.
Evidence of effort to play has to be the key point in a default score. if there's little evidence of effort then you aren't contributing fully to getting a game played and, indeed, become culpable to some degree.
Activity and subs do not necessarily demonstrate any effort to play a game. I could make any number of subs in a fixture but if the people I sub in make no effort to play then its pointless.
No simple way to do defaults but starting from a position of 0-0 and then not gifting 'easy' points where there's little evidence of effort by either side is a decent starting position which I think all three Leagues adopt.

The fairest way in my eyes would be some sort of middle ground between FCL and TCL.
The FCL often awards too many points on defaults, whereas TCL punishes those teams that happen to face an inactive opponent.
Can't really compare it to FBL though, because doing a 6-point default is much easier.

If too few points are awarded in a default, the system is too open to abuse. A poor player could deliberately avoid playing a great player in order to keep the points differential at a minimum. I think there has to be a minimum amount of points awarded to the least guilty party in the event of a default, and use the minimum as a starting point.

In an ideal world players would proactively chase games from day 1 of the 14 days thereby using the full period. Likewise teams with inactive players could take them out early on knowing they could come back in for other games as required.
Two problems with that though are 1) teams like to give the original player as long as possible to return before subbing and 2) teams like to prioritise whichever league has the first upcoming deadline.
Both are understandable.
Maybe an answer could be to release one fixture per week thereby immediately focussing the mind that games have to get played as quickly as possible rather than putting some on hold for 10-12 days? That would remove the above two obstacles.
That said there still are not that many defaults. But the major problem with the ones that happen is that they affect to some extent the remainder of the season, even deciding the overall winners on occasion.

Well I have had numerous positive comments said to me about the new FBL system. A couple of reasons why it works...
1) I am solely responsible for a default score, therefore am able to explain in detail the reason how a score was calculated.
2) There are set guidelines which are clearly laid out on the website so clans know what is required to gain themselves points.
3) It is very easy to understand, which was the general consensus of comments I received.
If FCL wanted to incorporate such a system they could use 4 points for each component laid on in my rules, thus not giving full points but still a decent amount for a clan who does everything possible to complete the game.

I'm glad it's working for you however there is a fundamental reason why fixed default scores have always been resisted.
If I need a draw or narrow defeat to win a fixture I know in advance that I can achieve that by replying to any messages, responding to any forum posts and by being generally active throughout the period without having any intention at all of actually playing the game.
