Since me and Jay are the head default panelists, I will have a word with him about looking through the rules on this.

I am considering writing up guidelines on the forum anyway like I said a few days ago, however, I need to do these with Jay and we haven't had a chance yet

well i think any player that been of after 7 days after the fixture out that team have to make a sub
as that player be of line for 7 days
also you got to watch out now as any player can be active on their mobile phones but not play any games you need to sort that out as your see in his or her results that he not played any games but still be active by his or her mobile phone

You can't force anyone to make subs. But if they don't, it should be reflected in the defaults.

Why are people forced to play games when their opponent is not online?
If they are on their phones, they can send messages to arrange a time with their opponent. When the opponent shows up at the arranged time, they'll have to log in to play of course.
But what the guy does at other times is completely irrelevant as long as he's arranging games!

seb we are talking about logging in with a phone you can log in but cant play ? so that would make that player active ?
about the 7 days every team as 16 players in their team
so if one player as not been on for 7 days why waste anymore time just sub a player in the whole point is making games get played ? not waiting to go to defaults ?

Seb is right, you cannot force captains to make subs, league staff cannot tell captains how to organise their games.

Also as long as they are able to arrange games from their phone then there is no issue and to be honest I am not going to trawl through hundreds of players results to see if they have played games on the server.

I am constantly browsing on my laptop, whether I am sat in front of it or down the shops or whatever. My activity could appear to be of "phone use" as I rarely log into the server. Shouldn't be penalised for just browsing as you are still contactable.

Rick I did read what you said, you didn't read what I said, I know you are referring to mobile phones, but I said - my laptop usage COULD be perceived as mobile usage because I am constantly on browse and never on the server, it shouldn't be a factor, as long as people can still send offline messages then there is no isses with mobile phones.

rick- the point is that players only have to log in to play when the opponent is online and the game is arranged right?
Whether they play at other times is their business, not ours. As long as they browse on their phone to arrange the game, that's fine.
Only when the opponent is online and game arranged, they need to log in.

well that way your never stop defaults you got have some guild lines on players being of line for so long captain should make subs if a players as not been on after a time otherwise your always have that trouble
like you was saying about a game should been 1-1 when the score was 2-1

I think we were talking about different things. I completely agree that players who are off for a while should be subbed- but the league shouldn't FORCE the captains to sub. Everyone can run their clans as they wish.
Failing to sub early enough should be reflected in the defaults though.

But if you're browsing on your phone and sending messages to get games arranged, then you're not offline for 7 days.

Seb is right, you don't need to be at a computer to show activity, if you have a mobile or even PS3 you can browse the forum and send messages, sometimes ive even arranged to play through facebook and not funky.

long as you can communicate to the opponent then theres nothing wrong unless you can't log in at a set time

i think matt already said about this if your on a mobile and you got no access to a laptop or a computer but you show that your still active by mobile this wrong it proves nothing cause you log on by mobile now
and you could have no ACCESS to internet

I did and everyone seems to be missing the point.
My opponent could be logged off for a few hours so I might throw a message knowing I can't get online stating "fancy playing now" knowing he is offline,

He comes on two hours later and says lets play, I reply with cant get to a computer now sorry mate. You can twist the rules for defaults.
