yup chris but you have to admit theres too many tournies, every 15 minutes??, what could be done (don't care if its rank or friendly) but put it back to the 25 hour schedule.

micros could stay but 'hide them from view', so could have one of those every 30 minutes where you need to enter from homepage to join, no tournapoints should be at stake for micros but could make micro friendly or make it half rank, as i remember ranked tournaments being brought in so you couldn't choose your opponent like normal games but micro you can use that to boost rank if you enter enough

i would prefer:

a, back to hourly tournies
b, remove friendly tournies
c, have no arcade tournies
d, put normal games back to full points for a win and just add a bonus of maybe 0.1 per entrant to the tourny to the winner as that incentive to enter. Great incentive for virtuoso's (not that any1 reaches 900 nowadays.

a look at all the people that have responded to this thread tells me that it is the people that have been playing 5 years plus that are being punished for there loyalty to the site, where as those that are content just dont know what they are missing out on. so many good people that have played for 5 years plus 'cba' to play any more.

Yeah i agree us players that have been here 5+ years know how it feels..you win multiple games and still keep similar rank..its odd.

The all time tournament lists are a waste of time now too, people like onua earnt a massive amount of hard proper tournaments and will be overtaken by nobodies with hundreds of arcade tournaments.
The fake noob situation stops people getting high ranks with decent tourney wins and now we even have top players resetting and playing all their ranked games against 600 ranked players just so they can go into tourneys ranked 720 to take massive chunks off people at the top...all a bit of a joke

what annoys me the most is that there are admins on usually everyday, but none of them choose to post here, infact they just ignore it as usual, its not hard to post at all, or poinyt out what they are planning,


simple thingh is they are trying to gain more users to the site, however its not new users that will say funky is great and add it to there fcebooks,

its the old users that will spread the word around more, and post and comment on the site, its the old users that need to be pleased, its the old dedicvated users that have been around for ages because its a great site,

( if anything to gain more users i believe funkypool needs to change its name to contain 8ball in it or billiards, who would google funky for a pool game? . )

funky just doesnt get published enough to be a great site, sure u can use facebook, but its obviously not working, so try other websites, myspace twitter ect, make a youtube video that introducers funkypool, and make it so when each user logs on it automatically opens the youtube link, making each day, hour lots of hits will happen

I have noticed an awful lot of new members joining in the last 2 weeks

yeah reseters, new accounts banned players

Then they get banned...like 6 new players i saw got banned in a week

Incorrect We see everything... Sometimes we don't post immediately, especially if someone else has done a good job of answering the question. Also, with discussions such as this, it's sometimes best to let the discussion flow. 13 different people have contributed so far (including one admin on page 1)
