I hate text speak but I do say gg gl just how it is tbf.
prefer that to nothing or people saying it mid game.

Agreed, manners do exist in the real world, and in lots of cases on the virtual world too.
But ... do you also use abbreaviations such as P.S. or e.g. as opposed writing "post scriptum" or "exempli gratia".
These are accepted parts of the modern language, just as gg, gl etc. (sorry! et cetera!) have become accepted parts of internet speech too.
its manners, why cant they exist in the virtual world, just like they do in the real world, (sometimes)..... maybe this isnt really a game suggestion, its a suggestion for all internet users!

someone just ended a game with 'ty m8 tc and cya soon'...... I can see that they are making a friendly effort, but come on, i think its gone too far, its lazy...... we'll have a 'lol' button on keyboards soon, and for you funkypoolers, a 'gg' key!!

This is all down to personal preference and if some people prefer to type "gg, m8, tc, wp, wd" then so be it. They are still being polite, whether they make effort or not!
