i have a suggestion, ban ALL members who speak with just letters, for example 'gg' instead of saying, 'good game'..... Its really frustrating when you play a hard game against someone and congratulate them with 'Well done, good game', for them to reply 'ty ggs wd'..... i think we should take that little longer to speak to someone at the end of a game, its the equivalent of a hand shake at the end of a real game down the pub :)

Next time im playing on a real table, im gonna say 'gg, wd' and then walk off at the end to see what happens...

This is internet pool, some people don't have time right after to say "good game, well played and good luck sir". I agree it's simple and not hard, but if you had to go to the bathroom after holding it in tourny and you lose, would you type it all out, i wouldn't.

A friend of mine actually said 'lol' instead of laughing at something that was funny...... needless to say, i gave him a slap!! and then laughed!

Not going to change mate, and not everybody say's it. There are some genuine people on here, that use proper English and punctuation.

For me if somebody says 'Ty ggs' then i know it means thank you good games, so it wouldnt worry me whether they typed it out full or not, main thing is they said it and didnt just leave.

Pointless thread in all honesty, what does it matter if you say "gg" or "good game"? It means the same thing but just shortened.

at the end of the day it all means the same this so its all down to personal opinion. If you feel like you want to type it all out in full sentences then thats fine. As andy and jay have said, it takes longer to type out and means the same thing
