I was curious what to do in case of a tie and was checking the site, it led me to a question:
When the player who won the 12th rack chooses what game type the decider will be, can he choose straight?, or does it have to be one of the normal 3?

What are your thoughts on dropping event bonuses from Player's Championship?

As I have said previously, I can see both sides and would go with whatever the majority wanted.

The reason they ever existed when matches were 9 racks was to try and take as many matches as possible into the third and final game type rather than the outcome being settled before then.

If you wanted a pure singles competition then you would probably be better without Event bonuses.

Also instead of playing 4, 4 and 4 of a game type it might be better to mix them in order - for example something like...

2 8 Ball
2 9 Ball
4 UK 8
2 8 Ball
2 9 Ball

... to ensure that all game types are played in every single match.
