Red got very unlucky a few times in 9 ball, in 8 ball I played pretty well and took my chances well.

Please can Captains, Vice Captains or any other nominated rep canvass your team members and let me have a list of all players that wish to take part in this competition this season. This is in the hope of reducing unplayed games this season.

This is late but is this going to have the same format?

Maybe with the uninterested not in from the start the format could be shaking up a little, possibly groups then knockout? At the moment we just get the same few players coasting through on their seed to a silly question round, either shelve the seeds or remove them at an earlier round?

In any case could the frames be reconsidered? It'd be nice for this to have a bespoke format instead of a copy of the super league. Maybe remove bonuses (which tend to be a complete lottery with the better players and are more down to the luck of the split off the break) or increase the number of frames to 6 of each other type? That way each match is a proper individuals match.

Lastly, how about a fixed draw with a round of prelims to get down to an even number. Redrawing every round just seems a bit odd for an individual event. It'd also be nice to see what is going on in the tourney and it makes the runners life easier.

i do like a random draw but i do think the bonuses should be removed .... you can effectively have a draw with bonuses and there should be able to be an outright runner not a winner because one has runout and the other hasnt.

Chris I need a question answering please

have both and A and B teams got individual captains
or do you need the captain of the A team to make subs for the B team

if so it seems very strange that, individual teams
don't have a captain

the reason I ask, I tried to get a B team player to sub in and play a game

the A team captain came on giving me abuse of which ive screen shot and insisted he must be asked before a sub can be made

im befuddled by this
the rule clearly states the following

5.7 The making of subs
Anyone in the clan can make a substitution, and once made will be deemed as a substitution made on behalf of, and with the full agreement of, the clan.

I guess the clan means team

would you please clarify the above

as I don't need abuse from a captain who doesn't run the B team, his name doesn't even appear on the team list
