My last word on the matter lol

I've been in clans since season 2 and this must be a new low for clans, games are getting played, defaults for all leagues are the lowest they have ever been and now people are that desperate to win they are willing to argue about who posted subs, it should be about what happens on the pool tables and not about who posted on the forums.

i agree 100% and say if i was the opposing team (SS) i would actually honestly say let the game stand out of fairness why would i want to win like that after all the games, its very dissapointing to see our game go to default just makes me feel like were getting done over by the system.

And now i see all this arguing again over the same thing how can you argue the fact SS that there was permission its clear that there wasn't if u want to get petty about it then well there it is.

In my eyes all this could of been avoided the runners tbh should of done a better job and used common sense now this is hanging over the league.

In my eyes both games should stand, but i guess its too late for that.

and my last word for those who think im biased towards shooters is wrong, only reason i discussed about it was purely on therev's post as i thought he meant permission when others didn't, so a mis-signal indeed as it has multiple signs.

i did what i did because i thought it was right, trust me if i didn't see the post about red4ever i would have 100% agreed with craig but as i thought it meant permission i discussed the case.

anyways lets leave it to runners to decide.

What a load of rubbish been posted here. Seems not once but on at least 4 occasions posts were made by the captains stating that red4ever would be one of the two to play the game.
If any one of those posts had been made in relation to the shooters game then that would have stood rather than let it go to default after being played.
'Do you mind playing a game' is asking someone to play! He isn't asking out of curiosity is he?!

All this garbage because shooters forgot to do the first thing anybody would have done and put their captain back in the team...always somebody elses fault and always got to have a mountain of crap following an obvious decision.

The rules fault, conspiracy, people who pointed it out's fault, never mind the rules let it slide for us anyway.

The rules are there to make sure subs are final and captains can't go back on them if they lose. Legends couldn't have possibly gone back and said they didn't want red4ever subbed in if he had lost 6-0 after all that was posted, shooters quite easily could have done if they had lost 6-0..that is the difference!

tbh tthroughout the whole season i bet ilegal subs have bin made only now tht 1 is a decider ov sumthink inportant its being bought up its stupid ............................

Asking someone to play is not giving permission to post subs tho is it ?, I just dont see the point of the above rant, pointless and from a league runner ?.

As I said before the league has consistently let permission just be posted on their own threads by captains or vices...there hasn't been any problems from this.
There was only one sub made where permission wasn't given by a captain or vice and the sub was made by someone not even on the teamsheet so that obviously couldn't have stood.

If someone has permission to sub into a game it doesn't matter who posts the sub alan...especially when the player states himself on the subs thread he has permission and it's there on the threads...4 times.
You don't have to say 'You have permission to sub into the game and you have permission to post the sub yourself'
Sure many could and have queried your constant antagonistic posts to users as a moderator but as you state you are still entitled to voice opinions in that role.
I am still entitled to give opinions on subjects being a league runner too

Lee please show us on any thread where Latin Legends gave red4ever permission to post subs, and I don't mean posts where hes asked to play, we've seen them and thats not permission to post subs, you show us permission posts and we're back to one case.
There is no posts giving permission, asking someone if they are willing to play is not giving permission to post subs.

This all comes down to petty bickering about who can post subs and clearly theres fault in both cases going by the rules you kept posting yesterday. rules are rules.

We have accepted players posting their own substitutions all season Alan, as long as they have been given permission to sub in on their own thread by a captain or vice.
You accept that he did have permission to sub into the game so following on from the consistent decisions throughout the season the substitution has to stand.
The shooters vs eagles game was totally different as no permission for a player to sub into the game was posted by a captain or vice.

Thats your opinion and your entitled to it, some of us have different opinions so now lets leave Sarah to sort it out.

Most of those are fact not opinion and we're waiting for fastboysam's interpretation on the subject but thanks

lee, you keep posting the same thing over n over it comes down to this every time and every time its the same.........no permission was publicly announced for this guy to sub in.

After reading through this thread thoroughly , i can honestly i say am disgusted at the slating, personal comments and abuse that has been posted on here.

As Head League Runner of the FBL , I personally would like to apologise on behalf of the FBL, to anyone who has been offended by the personal attacks made. i have actively tried to conduct all business via offline messages this has been successful in the past and i will continue to promote this.
Both teams were at fault , for not correctly posting subs , may it be described as a minor oversight , the other for permission not given correctly.Lets remember, both games were played in good faith by 4 eligible players. with very minor rule breaks nevertheless.
Due to the amount of posts made regarding the two games in question, and the posts made about default predictions,and players personal opinions about teams/players, i cannot guarantee that default predictions will not be swayed or unbiased. I have decided,that both games will be allowed to stand, as they were both played in good faith. Captains of both teams will be given an official warning , and if subs are not posted correctly again, teams will be penalised. This is the end of the matter, it is not up for discussion , i have made the final decision for the benefit of this league
may i add that players,vices and captains need to look at their conduct over this matter and need to set a better example in future.

Everyone who has continually posted on here is risking the fbl folding with their constant bickering. Common sense needs to prevail at some stage and if it doesnt concern you, leave it alone.

Its not our business what was said, and as Craig earlier posted, we would have accepted any final decision made by league runners..
