Questions on subs: Are the sub rules the same as last season?
This is what it says one the website:
5.6 Substituted players' eligibility
A player who has been substituted is only eligible to play in the same game type in the same fixture they were in originally.( ie if player is subbed out of a game type they can only be subbed back into the same game type).

Doesn't the example in the brackets mean that if I subs someone out of a 9-Ball fixture, I can put him in the other 9-Ball fixture?

Yes, a player may now be subbed back into either game, in the same game type, in the same fixture, although league runners may step in and cancel any subs if the system is being abused.

Due to trying to get FBL running alongside FCL as best as i can, yes the friendlies and the first set of fixtures are very close. If on Sunday night deadline, a team/s do not qualify for the FBL then the fixtures will be amended accordingly, captains will be notified. We are keeping an eye on the preseason friendlies, and the majority of teams are on target for completion, those who arent will be reviewed before the deadline, with a decision made after the deadline.
The fixtures will then be running as per norm, team sheets to be in on a Friday pm , fixtures released on a Sunday.

Putting this here as i don't want to clog up a clan thread with non related posts.

I don't see why a separate default panel would be needed for the pre season defaults (if there will be any). I have never given out a default that is biased towards anyone even if i don't like them. When it comes to defaults i go by the information that has been provided and 9 times out of 10 my prediction is the same as all the other default panel members. Just because i am engaged to Jema does not mean im going to vote in her teams way at all, if the player deserves a scoreline based on information provided then yes i will give the default in favour of them, if they don't deserve it then your damn right i won't give it out.

I know no one actually said that i would be biased, but i felt i should just say my bit on the matter. If people want to hand out biased score lines then so be it but in all honesty that would just be rather pathetic to give a biased decision based on the fact you don't like that captain or a certain player in that team.

Since the pre-season friendly decision is the biggest of the season, in my view it's best to make that decision among the default team. But it's up to you all.

I agree with what you say there but there is league runners there that could make the choice as they do see everything first hand.

Schedule for both divisions are at the above link. If games go to default, which affects teams qualifying for the league, then the fixtures will be amended accordingly, and captains will be notified of any changes.

Hopefully all teams will manage to get the preseason games completed with minimal defaults , and we will not need to use the default panel to decide whether or not a team qualifies for the league. In the case that it is needed though, a separate subforum will be set up so only default staff not involved in any default games will have access.
There are still 2 days left of the fixture,we hope everyone will manage to get the games played ,and qualify without defaults.

it wouldnt be right having you make any comment on any of 8s defaults if they have any defaults

its not a question of whether ud be biased or not, its the way it should be so i dont see why youd even feel the need to defend yourself in anyway...., and im sure youd agree its right.
