Well, comparing the current versions of clan leagues, it's fairly easy to tell which one is further evolved.

When I post here, I don't just say things because I believe they'll work better, but because they've worked better by experience.

Which one has lasted longer and has more clans, that alone tells you which one has evolved the furthest.

If we wanted a snooker clan league we would all go and play on snooker.

Seb is doing what all captains do and that is looking after his own team. The rules are ok when they suit and are just there to cause problems when they don't. This is the same for all clans in the league.

The league is clearly run by RULES. There are RULES and have been since the start of FCL. The rules apply to all official league games which preseason has always been included in as they were introduced to show a clans reliability. They are clearly displayed on the web site. I have explained the reason why the rule is there, the minimum requirement is an account that is one month old at the start of a set of fixtures.

also yes FCL has lasted longer but which league has the most arguments? our league hardly has any and we look to improve the rules over there based on feedback (over there always been a peoples league) and our own views.

Can snooker squad not handle the fact that this is a POOL site and that POOL started clan leagues that are now enjoyed on both sites. I don't see any pool players posting on snooker saying we do it better than you do snooker, but it seems that is all we are getting now. I play in snooker clan and i could post a number of rules that are in place that are not great and could do with updating, but i am not a snooker player so if you snooker players are happy i will play by your rules as it is your league and maybe in a snooker world they work great. If i am on snooker and there is something being discussed i would stick my tuppence worth in for what it is worth, but i would not post saying that snooker needs to learn from pool as we are the best thing since sliced bread. I would just post my point of view from a snooker clan side point of view, it would be nothing to do with pool as it is two separate sites.

horse- I brought up a rule question here, because it has prevented someone from playing when he really should be able to. I accept that you don't want to change it and tried three times now to stop the conversation before it turned into an argument.

One league has fights and constant complaints, the other doesn't. Why wouldn't you consider making changes? I have seen what works when running a league and I figured it would be useful to share that.

Only in your opinion, all we have stated is as per the rules he is unavailable for selection until his account is one month old.

I would consider making changes, i would happily increase it back to 2 months or longer as with a month we are still getting too many players deactivating and coming back, increasing it would hopefully make them think twice.

If something needs improvement, please bring it up in the discussion thread there.

I feel that putting the league runners under pressure to reverse decisions is wrong. This was given the green light like 2 weeks ago and 1 day before the PRE season fixtures people start moaning about it. Who does it harm ?...its friendlies not the league proper.

Joke that there was pressure to reverse the decision - should take League Runners decision as final!

Any questions for FCL rules or whatever in future should be directed at Jay. Can't be bothered to stick up for decisions made by us only to look stupid when they get reversed later on.

Due to the folding of the Legend Killers, there has been a shuffle in the pre season games. Top Pool Aces & Team Angry both had a game with Legend Killers. This has now been sorted.

Top Pool Aces v Team Angry is now the change been made. The list received to play against Legends will now be used for this game instead.

Agree Jem..from what i can make out there is actually 6 people saying they are for it to 3 against it. Don't make sense IMO.

Not submitting a team sheet on time.

I think a rule should be introduced that if you don't submit a team sheet for the matches you have to play by the deadline given that team is chosen from the first 8 but also they cannot make a sub/swap for at least 4 days into the fixture set. Can be seen as a punishment for not following the league procedure.

EDIT

Allowing them to make subs/swaps is defeating the purpose of getting a team sheet in the first place. They should be punished by what i say above or something similar.
