hi people
i think it about time people take it easy with other members of a clans
this one of the reason why players do not like joining up with teams no more
its meant to be a bit of fun and to past the time away for people
if people don't get to play their games long as you message your opponent and if the captain dose not make a sub for that player just let go to defaults
but there's a lot of harassment being handed out trying to get the players to play
i think it about time for the league runners to step in now and not let this keep happening between members and captains over trying to get games played

i agree to some extent but the key is to have as few games going to default as possible.
any further harrassment etc please take a screenshot and send it to a league runner and we can talk it over to see if action is needed or not.

Absolutely agree Rick !
I think clan members only need to communicate with other clans regarding the league when they have an opponent. All subs, clan issues and disputes between players should be sorted by clan captains. Maybe we can get away from hot headed big mouthed clan members slagging each other off on the forums all the time.
Would like to see captains exercise a little bit more control over their players !

Absolutely agree, if it wasnt for idiotic players slagging each other it would be a nicer place!

well people must learn to play games early i guess and be more helpful and maybe even offer subs early in games
might lead to less teams folding through arguments

I do think that now there is too much emphasis on getting games played at any cost throughout a fixture period.
It was better in the past when Captains put in a team list in an order aimed at second guessing the order put in by the opposing Captain to try and gain an advantage. Then subs and swaps were simply used when it became clear games couldnt, or wouldnt, get played.
Now you almost might as well do away with submitting team lists and just announce fixtures (ie Shooters v MVP) and tell teams to get eight games played to produce a result.
I know which way I preferred, even with defaults.

still dont how we arrive at 9 x 9 in a cup final,, from 5 x 5 in all the other rounds pleased we have more than 8 players on regular

It was 7 v 7 in the semi final so not 5 v 5 all the way.

In an ideal world this would be perfect but we don't have one and we have lots of arguments when games go to default.
I would prefer 20 swaps and 20 subs and no games going to default at least then we don't rely on a default team and a 101 arguments after they make up a figure. At least with lots of subs and swaps we get a player who is in clan A playing against a Player in clan B and no clan can argue with the final score between the two players.
Yes to achieve this we need captains who push to swap and sub but if it means no arguments about defaults it surely has to be better.
As a captain i have always left the original players to play the game they draw in week one and hope they chase and get it completed. In week 2 i look for the opposing teams players online and if i have a player available i swap or sub and get game completed. I also message players or post on clan thread advising any of our players can play against any of the opposing clan players who are still to play in that fixtures. If any of the opposing clan players are inactive i request subs.
Yes it means a lot of work as a captain to chase and check activity but i believe it is a common sense approach that generally works and ensure games are played and saves the russian roulette of default team.

how about for next season bring the player stats back, how many won, lost, how many points and frame percentage etc, adds that little bit more competition.

To be fair the default arguments only come when people think they know the full facts but in fact dont see the entire picture.
Nothing wrong with subs and swaps to get games played rather than have a default but I dont think people ought to be pushing for them almost from the off like sometimes happens. As you say, into week 2, and with 7 or 8 subs to choose from, should resolve most issues.

chris most teams do tht but some teams refuse subs or swaps until the last weekend which forces teams to play weaker plays
its called tactics well documented and not right
and it does happen

Should give clan members a chance to get the game played before subbing/swapping games. Trying to push through games in the first week just for the sake of it doesnt do anyone any good...
...completely agree with how Keith does it
