1 or two points max I think, means the league will be decided by the playing ability not bonuses!

I know we are on a topic just now but can i get the views on and earlier post i made about the default panel and maybe having one clan member from each team within the panel. I don't mind there being some in the same clan as long as the decisions made are the right ones and there is no biased decisions (Very happy with the current default panel members by the way before you think im not.)

I think the current panel gets scrapped and a new panel made up of one player from each clan, captains preferably but if not a player chosen by the captain, the players on the panel now could still remain as the selected players from their clans, then div 1 players do div 2 defaults and vice versa., should also make it that atleast 3 must give an opinion before a result is given out.

i like that idea with one player from each clan

division one do default panel for division 2

division 2 do default panel for division 1


also i would like to see the old bonus points system back you get bonus points if you win your fixture

it would make it easier for the league the runners again and would stop all the arguments

OK if that was to go ahead what about asking a clan to take a vote on the member of there clan who they think would be a good asset to the default panel? That could work but would think most would be scared if they never voted for there captain they would get booted haha

Really like the idea about the division one players do the division two though and vice versa.

Thats what we have been chatting about Rick, but i also asked for ideas on it too . If none of the ideas look like they would work or settle down the league then i would be 100% going for the bonus points if you win your fixture and thats that.

Why the bonus system was even brought in still baffles me to this day, the league should be won on ability not on how many games you have played. Remember a couple of seasons back Ut lost the league narrowly and the outcome was basically down to we had more defaults. however in the games we played we had gained more points than the winners of the league in the amount of games they had played. I personally think we were robbed of the league but others would disagree.

Chuck the bonus system out.

Penalise clans for having defaults, I like Ab's idea but gonna add a little tweak to it to make it a bit more easy to implement.

If a clan gets more than 10 defaults go against them in the league then they shall be forcefully removed by dgen himself. However as there will be problems with 8-7's 9-6's I propose that each of the defaults must be at 10-5 or worse for the penalty to stand, I believe at the minute a default going against you is penalty enough never mind having to worry but if you are sloppy enlugh to let 10 go against you at 10-5 or worse you don't deserve to be in the league and cause everyone stress.

Again, any decisions where defaults have to be interpreted will lead to the same kind of arguments.

Default panel- one member from each clan is a decent idea, if it makes people happy. Just remember that by nature, no player on here can be truly unbiased. There are friendships, old arguments, etc between individuals (especially captains). People will be happy with the default panel until a close decision goes against them. Nature of the beast.

yeh you would have 5 or 6 to do each league.

I also dont think you as the league runner and any other runners you have helping should be on the panel, you should only get involved if a result can't be agreed, lets you concentrate on doing other things and clans cant point the finger at you if they disagree, less abuse aimed at the runners then, captains wont always agree with default results lol

Let's be honest here Seb if a default is 10-5 there will be piles of evidence of the wronged person failing to try and quite a few days offline.

I unlike the majority of this league have full confidence the defaults panel can make the right decisions based on the evidence given. This is shown by no arguments about defaults at the minute. It is just the bonus system that is causing a riot.

Yeah Alan i mentioned that to someone earlier before about runners only stepping in if a result could not be agreed, so i agree with that completely.

All it takes is for 1 player to be gone for 5-6 days during a fixture and then coming back but it not getting done.
Point is, any case where defaults have to be interpreted will cause arguments, as we saw this season.

Yeah but if they are gone for 5 - 6 days they dont really have a case on the matter do they?

Then that player can show via offline messages and pm's that the opposing player is avoiding them, simple. and tbh in that case you put I would say if the player gone 5-6 days tries hard enough he will either get the gane played or the default would be close.
