i told them to stick to deactivated/banning/refusal, i think inactivity should be in there too as was clearly not your fault, can't remember if i voted or not.
but its clear your opponent was also inactive for 6 days then deactivated on deadline day.
all i can do is ask the panel to re check the bonus points to see if they want to change their vote, if they do then ill add the bonus, if they still feel the same then they won't.
thats if you request a review?
-----------------------------------------------------------
regarding next season, bonus points should be removed (win bonus should stay, completion bonus should go), however i can see it open to tactical play (e.g. clans not subbing so they can keep the win bonus) so i recommend points deduction (possibly 5 or 10 points each time it happens).
thoughts?

Player was offline from the middle Sunday untill he deactivated in the early hours of deadline day, at the end of the day he deactivated, it was our only default, The panel obviously thought it was his fault the game didn't get played or they wouldn't have awarded a 15 - 0, how can the panel say hes at fault for that game but not for the fixture completion when that was the only game left to play lol

bonus points for completion needs to stay as you said, people wont make subs in attempt to get the bonus points for the win.
There just needs to be strict rules on what defaults can have bonus points awarded because it wasnt the opponents fault
such as: deactivation, banning, clear refusal.

As no longer a league runner or defaulter i can comment that i reckon most were reluctant to award bonus points after the previous fixture sets arguments where they awarded the bonus points and ended up in arguments for days on end.

Well if they are reluctant to award them they might aswell scrap them now or get a default panel that will do their job right. the player clearly deactivated, simples, not giving because of arguments is not the answer I was looking for.
I just want to know why the panel think the player was at fault for that match to the extent they awarded a 15 - 0 but hes not at fault for the fixture completion, even tho he left the fixture during the first game then deactivated after being offline 7 days.
I'm not even bothered about the10 points, I'm more interested to know how they came to this decision, its a strange one lol

It is no wonder we end up with arguments when we can't get the easy decisions right.

Totally agree.
On the other note of MVP thing, i also don't see why MVP did not get the bonus, i was not involved with the decision on the scoreline or the bonus vote but if it was another clan then i would have given the points.
As James has said he will ask the default panel about it, i think they were a little bit worried about a possible argument erupting but even then i don't think they need to worry if they doing there job right I love the default people they make me smile and keep me happy

This was obviously the opponents fault, why else would the panel give a 15 - 0 scoreline lol
I still want to know why the same panel that gave a 15 - 0 dont think the player is at fault for the completion lol

Hey was just looking at the division 1 table and on the frames for and against should all add up to 720 (I think) all of them do apart from mouses which add up to 716. Is this due to defaults? if so surly we arn't the only team to be effected.Unsure if I am nit picking just thought I'd say.
Can this be looked at please.
I have been saying respect dgen for months tbf matey I would of quit if I were you tbh.

I put forward the idea on snooker that if the result ended 6-0 (would be 15-0 here) after defaults then the completion bonus should still be available for the winning side as they are clearly not at fault at all. It got massively voted against.

Will look into it when I get chance, regarding completion bonus just read what it is called not sure how many times this has been said its called a completion bonus for a reason.

yes but it only half rewards a clan for being active and getting games played, and half rewards a clan for their opponent being active and getting games played. This is nonsensical to me.
It is also important to note that it is NOT a bonus, what it actually does is increase the max points available per fixture by 10. When a clan doesn't get it, they are being docked 10 points for not getting games played. I have said this before, but if my opponent doesnt log on once in the fixture window, why should my clan lose out on 10 points, whereas he may log in for his fixture against another clan and they do get 10 points. There should never be a situation where it is impossible to get max points. The current system is inconsistent and doesn't treat all clans fairly. No-one thinks the current one works, but equally no-one can think of one that works better, though other ideas may work equally well/badly.

^ agreed, don't see the fairness of punishing a team for the downfalls of their opponents.
Ideally there would be an equal amount of effort from both parties involved. So if an opponent puts little effort in, a clan has to put more effort in than another for them both to get it? That isn't fairness.
Someone mentioned it a few pages back, any default given which is one sided (10-5 for example) shouldn't result in the completion bonus being lost (because the default proves that it wasn't that clans fault)

I said before that any time a clan receives no points in defaults for a fixture then their opponent shouldnt lose completion bonus if that is what you mean.

it shouldnt be called that tho, the league changed it weeks ago, thought you would have known that, even if they stick to deactivation, ban or refusal we get the bonus, the player deactivated after being offline 7 days.
If we don't get the bonus it means the rule has changed again, twice in the same season lol, points in some sets and not in others because the panel are reluctant to give them, to avoid arguments lol
The quicker this season ends and that bonus is scrapped the better because the default panel have no idea what they are doing with it, yes, no, oh go on then we'll give it this fixture set but not the next lol.

my own thoughts are simple
is it really down to the default team,,, how much experience do they have at doing this role,,
the question should be asked is it ok to read what theyve got to do, or should in all walks of life should full training be given and a mentor appointed
when people have been appointed to do this important job,, on reading back they missed the first defaults not an ideal start, what do you all expect
its not the defaults panels fault is it ,,,, however there are experienced staff there,, that seem to keep in the back ground ,, why arnt they comming to the forefront and talking and explaining their decisions
i truly feel sorry for the default staff,,, guidance is what is required and before anyone starts ive done the job and i know myself how it works
doing there homework and checking the circumstances of MVP last fixture when a player deactivated the bonus was given ,,,, its a no brainer this time if youve already done it before
