Regarding this, i will be looking into it as it has been brought up, i see nothing wrong with it just now. All i see is people saying it looks unfair and all that jazz but when it comes to it the decisions that get made by the default panel are always correct and looked into.
Will still keep this up for discussion though

Maybe its time to get one member from each team involved in defaults, rather than multiple members from a team, at least then , no one can accuse defaults of being unfair or biased. Which hopefully will happen next season

That's cos anything like this starts on snooker and Bud fetches his sniper rifle and starts picking people off. Could do with being capped and cleaned up if any of the mods have 5 hours spare to read through it all. I would do it but sadly I can only mod snooker .

James explained his reasons for taking this to poll and I would have done the same, it is a hard situation to judge and whatever the result someone is going to be unhappy.
This league cannot be run smoothly, everyone happy all the time, its an unrealistic dream! Half of you are hot heads and would not be able to make judgements and stand by them like James does and he should be commended for that.
Respect the decision James has made and get over it... pathetic really, childish bickering needs to stop because at the end of the day, the league is a game and doesn't affect your normal life, however James is a person and shouldn't be given this amount of abuse, its unfair!

Hey was just looking at the division 1 table and on the frames for and against should all add up to 720 (I think) all of them do apart from mouses which add up to 716. Is this due to defaults? if so surly we arn't the only team to be effected.
Unsure if I am nit picking just thought I'd say.

i just like to let you no that i did not slate james and jay once over this discussion
with the cup game that we was talking about
they both do a great job running the league if we did not have this the site would boring with out it
so i think a lot of you that are unhappy with them need to say sorry to them
if not walk away from the league its all meant to be a bit extra fun on the site
some people think their clever by slating them all the time easy way out as i said if your not happy with wat they do just leave the league its easier for every one

Updates are fine so long as I know in advance its changing, we all get scared when drastic updates are done that our computers aren't working and our lives will stop because funkypool might be broken
But you are right, hardly anyone on here is grateful on here I didn't realise the amount of effort that goes into running a league untill I saw my boyfriend doing the fixtures for FCL and the amount of hassle he has to deal with and he isn't even head runner.... yet!

I think that is exactly right Jem, people do seem to think there life is coming to an end when theres a new update and they don't like it....but yeah, If i was dgen I'd say do it all yaself from now on cause I'm not putting up with it anymore..

yeah your right people take this game too seriously (not naming names as another fight will break down) but can i ask you all a question, i run the league on snooker as well (with Seb), how come its only pool where im afraid to log in each day?
i did tell myself i would carryon until the end of the season which is what i plan to do as i don't want to be remembered for gatecrashing another season but a person who has determination and will power.
ill update site shortly, golden cue i will ask spoon how far he got

Why don't the people who aren't happy with the decisions all the time take over from dgen for a few weeks, and see if you can do a better job.

ill update once i get relevant info from spoonie and liam.
spoonie - where he got in golden cue
liam - i sent an idea where i would get rid of the word documents (except the cup) which is Ongoing League Fixtures and have them all on spoonies spreadsheet, that way it looks tidier and easier for me to update

i know division 2 is affected too, ive sent it to liam just in case and yeah they should add up to 720 unless there are defaults where the full 15 is not given

Completion bonus.
Can all the default panel members please explain to me why MVP didnt get the bonus points in the last set against Underdogs.
Opponent was offline 3 or 4 days in the first week, started to play against davybaumers on the middle Sunday but left during the first game, he then remained offline untill he deactivated in the early hours of deadline day, It was our only default and the panel awarded a 15-0 scoreline but voted against the bonus, so what your saying is the opponent wasn't to blame for us not completing the fixture, 15 - 0 and not his fault he deactivated lol.
