Honestly, as soon as the sub is made, whoever was subbed out should have no impact on the game in hand anymore except for defaults.

Whatever craig has or hasnt told him is nothing to do with league runners, the game was played, but doesnt or SHOULD NOT count in any way, shape or form.

exactly multi accounts so like last season if someone was in one team and same person in another and they got subbed surely thats an unfair advantage?

If this game counts then consider me no longer part of the league running team because i did not sign up to impact on how a captain should run his clan, this is his decision, nothing to do with us.

That is multi accounts, so without them there is no unfair advantage as multi accounts are not allowrd hence there is no need for this rule where league runners can change subs.

Have you read all the info available ?, the fixture was already arranged, Rick asked yetti if he would play if he subbed swapped, yetti said yes, they played within the hour, they really had no need to check threads, they thought it was sorted, both players and Craig were online, a pm from Craig wouldve saved all this hassle lol

5.6 Substituted players' eligibility
A player who has been substituted is eligible to play in any other game of that fixture unless they have played or started a game in same fixture. This does not apply to other league and cup fixtures being played at the same time. A substitution is considered official from the moment the captain has posted it in the substitution thread.

The sub was BEFORE the game started therefore the game became void, doesnt matter if it was arranged or not, who cares? Sub was made before start of play.

As for the tactical thing, if tactics arent in clans then there is no such thing as clans.

Isnt it tactical who you choose to play a game?
Isnt it tactical who you sign in the first place?
Isnt it tactical how you play against a certain opponent, whether slow or fast play?
Isnt it tactical every single sub you make, whether to get the game played for bonuses or in an attempt to get more points?

Whoever says it shouldnt be allowed because it was tactical is saying aload of rubbish, Tactics is apart of clans, simple.

i am the same as spoonie here. this game should NOT have gone to a poll, the game was invalid from the start , so why are we voting on why it should stand ?

well i answered that already on previous page, a lot of controversy surrounding this game and i couldn't make a call there and then as i had mixed feelings for both teams so i let the defaults team decide. i am sure they will make the right call either way.

i voted No by the way but not because of some rebellion to basically leave me on my todd but i had a think in my head. personally in my head theres fault on both sides the rules favoured Shooters though thats where my No come from.

There are written rules but unofficial expectations from clan captains. Not every single circumstance can be thought up and have a rule written down by dgen, he would be here a very long time if that was the case.

All this talk about yetti checking the threads prior to an arranged game... if Rick has posted the swap, Craig should have seen this and inspired him to contact yetti and say hang on mate, im thinking of subbing this game so dont play yet. This then would have been communicated to big_mouse and this problem avoided.

I know there are rules but there are situations like this where there is room for a loophole (for a lack of better words).

UBs subbed me out of an FBL game with chalkie35 not so long ago, I was all ready to contact chalkie35 and play this game until bluenose1872 informed me that I had been subbed out, now if it wasnt for the incenscent ramblings of the UB crew and their insane drive to get through as many forum pages as physically possible in one day then I would not have missed the posted sub as no one has messaged me telling me I was out the match

Point is, there are situations where sub postings are missed and it should be down to the captains to inform their players if a change has been made to a game.

You obviously forgetting who had the final vote on tied decision on MVP's bonus points the first time round too, it was me and unless your forgetting it went your way on much arguments against me.

by the way it should be kept secret otherwise whats the point in having a forum only for the defaults team.
