NO...teams get a ridiculous amount of help now.
They are allowed twice as many players as is needed to complete games, unlimited subs and swaps and help from league runners posting reminders for everything they have to do on their threads.
If they can't get games played after all that they are just wasting everyone's time.




When I was vice I got loads of excellent players in by sending messages to people I had come accross in tournaments that were good and free agents. Our captain does it, everyone elses does it and I got into clans in the same way.
It's ridiculous to try and make out that underdogs had made a suitable amount of effort to get players in because there was only one player on the list.
Takes 5 minutes to write a message, copy it and send it to 10 people. Out of 10 messages you will get 2 if you are going for high ranks so if you aren't that bothered about rank like underdogs could probably get 5 out of 10.
Just poor excuses

That is an MVP player asking for the change to help a struggling clan, not just to get their points...

Don't see why people are making out the rule needs to be changed to stop a clan folding.
They just need to make some effort to get players in and if they don't it's their own fault.
No reason to change the rule whatsoever

Because a season without a default is something which should be aimed for, defaults aren't a true reflection on gameplay - so give a score which would be different to the score if a game was played.

Would you rather win/lose a title by a default or actual game score.

Anything to lower defaults should be considered. A clan could have say 12 reliable players, understandable that they might not try and get more players in, then 5 of the players could have an issue (internet, family, etc.) affecting their ability to get a game played, not the clans fault really. Things can change around very quickly, can go from comfortable to an emergency in the time spent offline for a captain

That's why you have 15 players in a clan zante and it's not fair to sign a player after fixtures have been released and play them.
What about a cup final or a league match to decide the title? Convince 2 or 3 quality players to just play one game for you? Think about it.

if you cared so much and im not been sarcastic why spend less time posting on here and help them find players and be a little proactive and practice what your preaching

Why do Underdogs need help exactly im confused haha they have less players than any other team in the FCL but they get the games played regardless of that, for example TPA have a full sqaud but struggle sometimes to complete there fixture with another clan while a team with less players finishes there games maybe with a default or two sometimes.

you can all talk about lower teams on here

as you all be in the same place once before the team that haven't are lucky
you get new players that ask to join your team say there going to be on all the time
because of the rules they cant play in the fixture that are already out once they no that they don't seem to bother(but that the rules)
you always get players asking you once you tell them the month rule for a new player they reply i cant be bother with that they want to play now (but that the rule)

you get people sign up then when you do put them in the fixture they cant be bothered to play so your back to catch 22 again

if you look at loads of teams on here how many new players they bring in during a season cause people letting them down this not only the lower team that do this

getting reliable players is the main thing a lot of players go for the better teams not new teams ive had a lot of good players look at teams in progress and not the best teams but ive also had disruptive players who have had to go so its not just getting the players for us lower teams its getting them and keeping them happy ive had 4 players i gave a chance leave because of problems with me and one player 1 say hes not got time to play for us and go to another team for nxt season problem with us has been finding reliable players that last the season not leave after so many months luckily ive got enough reliable players for a team and we will keep doing are best to fullfill our fixtures but with 1 sub its not easy

true, we all have to start somewhere i know Underdogs are well Underdogs at the moment but give it a few seasons of practising and they could be one of the Top Dogs *get it * on the site.



true as well, i have seen it happen this season, their own loss basically.

for record on the whole quarantine issue, i can see issues on both sides as my aim was to lower defaults which is why i brought unlimited subs rule in. but i also agree with Seb that quarantine is there for a reason, same with can't sub in once game has started. i won't be changing it this season but if you feel strongly about this then bring it up during the cup final to be discussed for next season.

of course i won't be here to make a verdict so that will go to bluenose

i feel your pain mate, if i was you i would go to the clan waiting list also keep a lookout in the game, people you play for instance, if they are half decent then you could ask them. try to make sure they aren't/left a clan this season before you ask.

Same for everyone except with the new laws you haven't got the worries of players being poached mid season now as well so it's easier than previous seasons.
Everytime you lose a player you have to message players to get one in and not let the squad get anywhere near as low as it has done.
It's a lot harder actually to get players in a first division team believe it or not because there are a heck of a lot more free agents that can compete in the second division than the first (know this season is slightly different with MVP, snooker squad and latin legends starting in the 2nd but still true)

Everybody gets it, you never know how reliable a player will be till they start getting games but that's why we have squads of 15 and it makes absolutely no difference if it's a first or second division team, you're always taking risks but the good ones stay.
If you don't put in the work as a captain to get shot of players that you have to sub out all the time and get them replaced before it's a problem then nobody else to blame than yourself for defaults...certainly no problem with the rules.

and it hard to bring in the good players if your team is not doing well
if you win the league people come to you i no that cause iv be they to
you always fine out its only a few that moan about trying to help the lower teams out they forget they where not to long ago
it better then a team folding. have you forget about the rules all the teams that have played the folding team lose they points go back to zero
so it not good for the other teams that had better points with the folding team
so i think that good of the league trying to help out the lower teams

It's only our third season rick, we started in the 2nd like everyone else and have had players poached along the way by the teams going for the title...think it was 4 in one week last season, we sent out messages and got them replaced as always.
Haven't got that issue with the new transfer laws and if half the season has been played then games played against a folding clan would count because everyone has played them once.
Not that anyone would want to see a clan fold but there is absolutely no reason for a clan to fold through lack of players.
The rules have given more and more help over the seasons and we're now at a point where if clans can't complete games there really is no excuse.
I think the only clans that have folded in recent times are through captains not having the time, reforming old clans or in-fighting not lack of players.

Just a quiery, having asked a captain to get info on a players availability he refused after 1st finally after all night refusing. The only sub he's offered is himself who is abusive, and has made it clear he has issues with me. All I can see if this sub happens is abuse, troubles and difficulties.

As soon as you invite stick him on ignore as a suggestion then only have to take him off to invite again and straight back on.

I can see where melody is coming from, i cant even see it bein played as a fair game, i can see that as soon as theres half an issue there will be ructions and refusals to play.

bare in mind this has happened to me in the past regarding a game where i was only a spectator where all id said was "score should have been other way around"..."you were unlucky" to a TD player, and i get called a cheat repeatidly and told he was refusin to finish the games. Melody has also just informed me that it has happened to her in the past where as soon as hes started losin he's kicked up a fuss....
