i think the way forward with this bonus is to change it for the new season

some thing like this weather you have defaults or not it the margin you win by

if you win that match with the other team and you not completed games

put on score bonus like this

if you win by 1 to 10 pts you get 5 bonus points

if you win by 10 to 20 pts you get 10 bonus points

if you win by 20 are more pts you get 15 bonus points


this would stop all the arguments and debates over bonus points and teams would no where they stand with the bonus points all together. So the more points you win by the more bonus points you get

good idea, but why do u need bonus points? i see them as very cheap points at most, if u win u get 5 bonus points, the leagues should be as simple as possible,

how is easy is it for 1 clan to stop anutha from getting their bonus points?? whether intentional or not??

disagree as the reason why it was made 10 instead of 20 as clans can run away with the league. applying the above will only do the same.

as a mate said on snooker if theres a major problem then eliminate the problem in this case bonus points.

Presumably you still mean Completion Bonus points? If you do away with all bonus points then you simply recreate a previous problem (ie MVP and Untouchables in MVP's first ever season in Division 1).

Maybe rather than give bonus points, why not deduct points from a team that has had a player deact/ walk out of a game, or hasnt been online to play their game ? Might be more of an incentive for a player to complete games, or make more of an effort to get game played.

i still say there should be a points punishment rather than just not get points that way teams will work harder to compleat

i like the 2nd one but when stated a game you should finish it dont matters what some people just pull out cause they playing bad

unfair as your a league runner and up to you who give the right bonus points out to even so you do a good job running the league

No way we can do away with bonus points, like chris says we can not have a season if a clan beats all other clans and wins all games and they don't win the league again.

Why scrap a bonus system that there has never been a problem with?
Only debate was over giving the points to teams if a default was absolutely not their fault (i.e somebody starting a game and deactivating)

its not me who decides its the defaults team, the majority of votes wins, only if its a tie that i have the final say.

i only meant get rid of the completion bonus (and keep win bonus) but saying that its not an incentive to play games anymore.

at the moment its a lose-lose situation as were going to have problems no matter what we decide.

The only thing I might add would be in the judging of the decision by your default panel.

It seems, having read on here what happened the other day, there were still doubts as to whether MVP did or did not have an opportunity to get that last game completed in the final few days/hours based on the available and submitted information.

How about that for the Completion Bonus to be awarded in any instance where all the games are not finished it has to be a unanimous decision by all voting default panel members? All that means effectively is that the fall-back position would be not to award the bonus unless the evidence was so absolutely overwhelming as to be beyond reasonable doubt.
