Love to know where all these arguments against the bonus change were when it was discussed before the season started. all of a sudden it doesnt suit people lol.

I think we should go with Seb's idea of getting rid of the default bonus, too many arguments and debates over it, lets look at doing away with it for next season, its only 10 points and not really worth arguing about.

Can't see any arguements to be fair people are having a discussion and giving there opinion read the thread title, it's what the thread is for.

Yeah and I understand where people are coming from but I think the completion bonus should be for completed games that is all. Not arguing btw just sharing my opinion as are you :).

Well then as stated it should be scrapped altogether. A team should NEVER be punished for something which they have no control over.

That's a fair comment eemad they also shouldn't get a bonus for something they didn't achieve, scrapping the bonus points would probably be the best outcome.

scap it causeing to many probs but to give teams a carrot as to speak maybe a early finnish bonus of 5pts or something cause if there no bonus some teams might not bother.

This will bring up the same issues as the current way.

true surpose it would but there must be a way or maybe a team punishment for to many defaults or a points deduction if a player refusing to play,

just i fill some teams wont be bothered to finnish games if it goes just on currant default systerm.

Due to clans getting punished by losing bonus's because of opponents actions makes this rule unfair, all points earned should be based on what you do not your opponents, we shouldn't be relying on our opponents to get the games done just so we get an extra 10 points.

Scrap the completion bonus for next season.

We due currently though, making sure they come online and play the games. They could quite easily come on at times when you ain't.

Yeh we need to keep chasing and hopefully get games played but that needs to get done by everyone, at the moment we are all depending on our opponents getting games played just so we can get an extra 10 points, lets be honest, how frustrating is it when games go to default because of your opponents and knowing you could lose that bonus, and maybe your closest rivals have got the bonus, these 10 points could decide leagues, what I'm saying is the points you get shouldn't be dependant on what your opponents do, it should be in your own hands. not going out hoping the opponents complete the fixture just so you can get 10 points lol.

Surely at the moment all it needs, after yesterday's change, is to add something like... ' The League Runners reserve the right to award Completion Bonuses as appropriate where teams are judged to have had no responsibilty for any individual game not being completed during the period. Any and all such decisions are final.'

Apply that rule change fairly for everyone for the rest of the season then revisit the issue again before next season.

That sounds fair then either continue that way or scrap the completion bonus completely at the end of this season.

to help get games played

in fbl an example of how unfair default bonus is

7 games were played on time nps

1 game was started ,,,,,,,,, 2 games played ,, and one player logs out for 7 days and never comes back on line before deadline .... a whole 7 days

the team tht was online gets penalised by not geting default bonus how can tht be right

you penalise all the players and the team

and it states in extreme circumstances the league runners can change this

how extreme is this and it wasnt awarded

defaults rule is a complete joke at the moment
