i could do but my argument is its classed as spamming, especially end of season, it could be 5 or 6 posts in a row.

defaults forum is perfect imo, can edit the 1st post when a new result comes in, no character limit so all in one post

Look i don't know much about how you guys run other sites and keep them updated , the way i see it tho is that when someone cant upkeep it or has a bee in there bonnet all hell breaks loose . At least keeping things herei ts moderated by pool staff/admin and it cant be removed ?

another idea for bonus league unless its implemented for FBL.

US runout = 2 points
UK runout = 2 points
US golden break = 2 points
9 Ball runout = 1 point
9 ball golden break = 1 point
7 ballings = 1 point
UK golden break = 1 point

One shot, least runouts least take 5 ish.

1 point for every gb
2 for every 7 balling/9 ball runout
3 for us/uk runout

Agree with cphaynes - gb's can be fluked (9 ball runouts too)
Don't see why you should potentially reward flukes with triple points, when someone could play better and only get a point


Another thing to consider is breaks, you would have to change the format to 4 or 6 frames to give everyone an even number of breaks, and have some sort of plan where a person can't leave the game after an odd number of frames incase it changes who gets the break, and gives one player more chances than another

Maybe have a public place for the default info - so that both sides can see what has been put, so they know the other side hasn't lied or whatever

i think chris mentioned that to make the defaults forum read only to members.

few seasons ago i would have said defaults is as fair as they can be and no need to show to public as i preferred it private but now times has changed and i don't mind showing it to the public anymore if majority agrees.

would like jay and flawless input before implementing it though.

mmm I don't know about public defaults. It's awfully tough for a captain to be objective if his own teammates can see what he says...

Just the way thing's go Seb, i'll be the firs one to admit when at Crazy i did give a default or two to the other team as i felt with the info they handed in and everything else they deserved the default win even if that default lost us the league or something i would still do the right thing by the league and give a fair result(s).

Totally agree, but it's much easier to be objective if the whole world can't read it.
I don't see the need for the discussion to be made public, if we have a default team made up of members of different clans.

same here, but after last 2 seasons i think youll admit i have doubts but i have 3 capable league runners now who should do the job quite nicely
