Tinie had break shot, i lose maximum rank without a shot!

Why i deserve to lose 4.4 points if i have no break shot and of course no shot?

Micro 8 Ball UK Tournament - davybaumers (0) loses to tinie (1) who ran the rack!
RANKINGS: tinie 818.3 (+4.6), davybaumers 901.4 (-4.4)

Was on a personal maximum rank, don't know how i can reach ever onua's rank on this way!

Tinie is new member since 25/07/2011 and look statistics!

tinie aint a new player though, your stats would look like that if you created a new account davy. Over time this evens out and you shouldnt lose points for doing that, yes its annoying, but its a game and playing a micro, you put yourself at risk from losing alot in one game. im sure your good enough davy to get back again

so we shouldn't lose points on an opponent's runout either?

He won the game, you lost the game, so you deserve to lose points.

you win some, you lose some only natural you lose more higher rank you get.

4.4 isn't much to be fair, seen far worse.

you should play original davy, you lose 8 just for being at same rank, 10 for 50 points difference and 12-13 for being 100 rank difference.

the break is 50/50, 50% you will get it, 50% tinie will, runouts can take skill especially in the 8 Ball games (not arcade) and deserves to be rewarded.

a good player like yourself can get that back easily.

154 wins and 13 run outs, but not every win is on break shot i guess, so much wins from Tinie on break shots are run outs!

I started this thread and I still agree with the principle but you take ranking far too serioiusly davy, you're ahead of onua now but i'm sure if he hit the tourneys again he would be straight back to the top.
That's no disrespect to you but i'm just saying it's not the system or down to losing the odd 4/5 points from a run out or golden beak it's an 85% win record.

i have lost nearly 7 points from a 9 ball game from a fluke and yet although its a different game, i still lost a lot of points. but i dont care. Just because your virtuso, doent mean that you shouldnt be treated any differently. i could see your point if you were playing for money, but your not

I lost 24 points and pro ranking in one marathon 9 ball earlier kermit to the spawniest flukemeister general in the history of jam city. I wasn't happy at the time but I got over it...... in about 0.67 seconds

No, because then you would still lose the points

You go into a game knowing that you may not get a shot, or just generally when your opponent is shooting, you may not get another go

If you have more shots and lost, would you say you deserved to lose more because you had more chances to win?
